It's a LRP X12 sensored brishless motor, so very critical... I packed it into heat shrink and waterproofed front and end cap with plastidip. At the end the motor was not so sensible anymore with power adjustment, but I guess it's just a wet sensor connection what has to dry now...
It is amazing that RC Trucks and Jeeps that has electrical mechanisms can survive underwater compared to real Jeeps and Trucks..Real Jeeps and Trucks will be heavily damaged lol....
mehh...get an axial scx10... they are better break less and way cheaper. these have to be modified too much to do what it's doing... these are better shelf queens for what they worth.
+Paopolomololl The High Lift series from Tamiya was not intended for hardcore rock crawling like the Axial SCX10, it is the CR-01 chassis that is the serious rock crawler from Tamiya. The High Lift series, like the Toyota Tundra here, is for touring, trail and can be used for light crawling too. With bigger tires, like 105-108mm, and a slower rpm motor, like Tamiyas own CR-tuned (35T), it does light crawling even more effortlessly. You do not want to scratch or damage a DeLuxe body like the Tundra in serious rock crawling. Cheers.
