Initial impressions of overused phrases and names in these stories..."the tension was palpable", "released a breath they didn't know they were holding", the name Marcus, Lira...just to name a few. This story almost got off the ground, lots of scattered bits of information, no real connections with character development.
I don't think I've ever heard a story with so many random references. I doubt a human wrote this.
