you can put a spear in hutch and then have him instantly kill any tentacles that hit him, thats the easiest way or if you have the thulecite crown you can just tank it

Those ornate chests regenerate loot over time but I assume you came early so no loot right now Those lights can be activated lated by putting an irredecent gem in the end of the atrium gateway I think I'm so happy for respawn able guardian horns
You made that Antlion fight look so easy...Me and a friend tried killing it on a Lights Out world, but those sand pillars combo'd us until we ran, not to mention the fact that it spawned on the coast, so we had less area to move around with. Here's hoping it spawns in a better spot next time...

That has happened to me before. I'm not sure if it was a world generation bug that used to happen before and maybe they have fixed it or if there is always a very small chance that the glommer statue might not spawn. It hasn't happened to me in awhile.
Since the dark shadows (even that pesky terror break) can be killed with your fists or the walking cane itself, why do you use a dark sword when you have low sanity? Second, why don't you keep your food in the backpack when it rains? You know that getting wet leads to spoiling your food faster, right? Apart this two minor issues, keep up the good work. :)
Thanks. Not sure I understand what you mean about using the dark sword. Shadow creatures have health just like any other mob. I could punch things to death if I wanted a challenge but we use weapons to make it faster. You're right about the food. But I'm used to keeping healing food items with me rather than in the backpack if I'm going to be dropping my backpack for armor or I want them part of a shortcut.
I know that the shadow creatures have HP. The fat one (Crawling Horror) has 300 and the nubs killer (Terrorbeak) has 400. I was saying that if you just need to make them go away then hitting them with your walking cane will suffice, else if want to kill them then indeed would need a proper weapon to do so. And this brings me to the final point into saying that since the Dark Sword drains sanity while equipped it's a bit counter productive to use it against shadow creatures (that also have a sanity drain aura or insanity aura) when you want to gain some sanity back from killing them. Anyway, you keep on doing great videos to hit the thumbs up button. :)
is the update live? like out of beta? I tried spawning in a new world and cheating the map but I didn't see the patch of grass where the oasis would be....
I didn't have one at the time. I've gone back to the Atrium a couple of times and tried a few things since making the video. The nightmare amulet works well. If you are dropping your backpack to wear it, you can pick it up immediately after the obelisks drop and have enough time to pass through before they block us again. A bee queen hat kinda helps too because of the ancient obelisk that drains sanity. You can use a bee queen hat to reverse the effect if you want to gain sanity. But if you can spare lazy explorers, they make the atrium really easy:)
I've only killed it once so far. I haven't yet reach the next summer since I killed it. The previous summer before killing antlion it was in the same place. But there was no option to kill it yet.
The Against the Grain and the Heart of the Ruins updates were naturally updated into our existing worlds. I followed the update's advice: "The easiest way to do this is by quitting back to the main menu and then reloading the world one more time." I didn't have to do anything else.

As a wigfrid, you can kill small tentacles in one shot with walking cane, thus saving durability of your weapons.
That's true. Didn't think of that. Should do 21.25 damage with the cane as wigfrid and the tentacles only have 20. Ty.

+Eric 404 would make perfect sense if the plants need more from flingo in sandstorm as they would go dry faster

I am a year late, yes, I know. But Antlion spawns in the same spot every summer. So she'll be by the coast still.
