The Perfect Run (Acolyte of Death)

Dang this was fast and clean.
Acolyte ranked 1/7 for time. Part is due to this being my last class so I was the most knowledgeable about where to go and what to do, and part is due to having used scythes extensively in my first playthrough. Either way, you do a ton of damage if you know what you're doing with this class. -- Watch live at / zaiyu

Dude I've dumped like 45-50 hours into this game and I can't make it past the big 3 - - Tundra, Galaxy Mage, and Council.
I am beyond frustrated-- to the point that I deleted my save files and debated deleting the game -- I want to beat it though.... man you make it look easy.

does the pause stop time? or does it count as actual time in game?

I think it's just using the speedrun timer in top left which you can activate in the options. It doesn't stop when you're in the menu, but it does stop during screen transitions, loading screens, and events where the camera pans away.

I'm way late to replying, but you can never go wrong with Soldier, for access to all the shields/bows.

Very impressive! I've given up on it for awhile. Finally beat Lord Kaern and Council but can't get past Galaxy Mage. @@zaiyuranger
