Hey just slow down and take a breath. Try starting smaller, you are adding way too much product in the water. Just do small pieces until you get a feel for the mix2mold. It should be slightly runny, like buttermilk. Please just keep trying you will get it. Just shake off the day and start over, I am pulling for you. Hang in there.🐒🙂

I have had to mix more of the mix 2 mold to top up my pours and they turn out fine. I usually mix 1 cup of powder to 3 tablespoons of water.

Rachel, you have got this! I pour mine when it looks like water and it cures great! Trust the instructions on the product and work in smaller batches. .

Thank you for being so encouraging! I was just having a tough time at it and getting very frustrated!

Hi Rachel , I use water based pigments and resin crete from temu , they seem to work pretty good.Hang in there you'll get there ❤

Good to know about other options that work! It’s all getting a little pricey even from Temu. I was just having one of those days and I refused to give up. I should have just taken a break from it 🤷🏽‍♀️🦋

All my name, brand resin dyes i got from Michael's, leaked badly. If that makes you feel better. The tops are not made correctly. And, the dyes separated in the resin while curing. It was a mess! 😊

👋 all these molds have many possibilities. O my goodness! I am learning by watching you, and I love that you are real with it. (I have only played with resin and I mean only played) your tip about the lava soap may encourage me to do it for real... I am not a fan of the sticky! I look forward to many more videos!!!!

Awe thank you 😊 I was terrified to use it the first time 🤣 I still get really cautious with it getting on anything. I have some polyurethane that I want to try using but has even less of a working time 🫣

I have seen plenty of people use it and they say it is best to start with weighing/measuring out your water and mix2mold. Then pour the powder into the water and mix as you are pouring your powder into the water. It is best to use acrylic Pigments like paint or the Pigments that Brea Reese makes for mix2mold. Also the Eco Resins perform better in large/wide molds not the thin small molds.

I'm a bit disappointed that it isn't the best for the thinner molds. I have ordered a whole slew of them! I'll keep trying!

@@Rachel-transformationArt oh no.......yes the thin molds result in brittle pieces😢 But you can use them for resin❤
