where ashen of albaz, underated card

It’s properly rated, since the card does close to nothing. It’s just a pseudo-mudragon of the swamp that you have to waste your precious Lost/Quem/Mercourier search on, with bigger attack points, and literally just that. The card isn’t a combo starter, needs set-up to gain its attack points, and is literally a brick. Imagine meeting a Yubel player while a 5k ATK Albaz Ashen is on the field, or when you’re going second into a full SEFK board when Albaz Ashen is the only card in your hand that’s worth anything.

@@bachouvenn3563 i use it after the albion line, i place it there for protection cause i can chose it insted of another cartesia when you already have it. The card doese something, it protects from targeting effects your other monsters so it could eat up 1 board breaker like droplet. Idk if u actually read the card, its the only card that offer you diss exect Brigrand which is hard to summon and never the a line of combo

also big attack is the only thing that can remove a 3500 attack falcon or a kaiju :))

@@bachouvenn3563 also it can special summon itself after the first 2 turns and if you comboed, very good in grass too

@@san4ndreas103 you’re still not convincing me lol. Droplet doesn’t target, so Ashen doesn’t do anything if you get Droplet’d. Sure the RR monster can be a problem, but when was the last time the deck had a problem removing a Kaiju? The point of the deck is dealing with the meta, which is what you’ll meet 90-100% of the time, instead of adding a brick that’ll solve a niche situation. I haven’t met a single RR because that deck is not meta right now, but I’ve met Yubel, Voiceless and Snake-Eyes or SEFK more than I can count. I assume the Albion line is the standard Cartesia access + Branded Fusion access, if you can already do that line without your opponent trying to stop you then you literally win right there if you use your disruptions in the correct spot, because it can offer up to 9 disruptions. Ashen is just a win-more card that is neither a disruption nor a starter, and again, is a literal brick if you drew it without starters going first and serve no purposes going second.
