Great match by all four players, with some spectacular blocking by Alayo. I wish more teams from Cuba had the opportunity to compete at the highest level.

That's the big problem with the cuban teams,The economical factor ,limited their assistance to events and as a consequence,they miss "points" to be better classified...(This excellent cuban duet,is not yet,oficially in Paris,due to his lack of mandatory events assistance)

I fully agree. Also remember Nivaldo and Sergio. Almost a decade ago, those two dominated NORCECA events and had strong showings at both the 2015 WC and the 2016 Olympics without even playing regularly on the World Tour. If they had been from one of the main FIVB countries, they could have been medal contenders for many years.

Honestly that was an egregious no-call on a God-awful set at the start of the 3rd set and who knows if the set plays out the same way if it’s called or not - but a 1 point swing was the difference.
