Do you have to change out the timing belt/chain also when doing the water pump replacement or not absolutely necessary?

Good afternon did the timing cover have a gasget .. l know I should apply silicon ... but does it have a gascet and should if be replaced

Have fun with that leaky oil pan and valve covers… do not do this without replacing all the gaskets what a waste of time
