Does Sly 3 Break the "Threequel's Curse"? (A Retrospective)

Sly Cooper is definitely one of the most renowned 3D platformers to ever grace the PS2, but then we get to the the third entry of the thieving raccoon. Usually the third entry is the part where the trilogy falls flat, but does Sly 3 break out of this? Let's find out in my re-review of Sly 3: Honor among Thieves!

While it's not as good as Sly 2's story, Sly 3 definitely excelled with its character development and the themes it conveyed.

While sly 3’s story is not up to the levels of sly 2’s story, it’s still a great game to play and a satisfying ending to the series. (Let’s pretend that sly 4 never happened or took place in its own canon)

It's too bad that sly 4 had to ruin that satisfying ending by leaving the story at an unresolved cliff-hanger.
