Got a good story you could cover, it's about the throat ear and nose specialist who invented a plastic wind pipe, then started going to Eastern Europe to find people with throat cancer to try his intention out, bypassing safety trials and animal testing to quickly try to prove and market his new invention. After 5 or 6 weeks, the patients started to smell a funny smell. This was their selves slowly rotting on the inside. The surgeon wasn't even in the country anymore, and these poor people with families couldn't do anything, and not even any hospital could do anything. You should cover this story to warn people about medical nightmares and rogue doctors.

It should be noted with the cave paintings the boys didn't leave the place for a week and then come back with a Priest. They arranged a watch over the cave and camped out protecting until someone with enough cloute could get the attention of the proper professionals to research and preserve the site.

Of all of the giant stone moving I've tried to wrap my head around, I find this one the easiest to rationalize. They carved giant boulders into balls, rolled them where they needed to go, then carved it into a head. To do it any other way would be insanity. This is the only time I've thought that's plausible. Still, ridiculously time consuming, and impressive.

When I was a teenager, I saw the original documentary about Otzi, and I could plainly see an arrowhead on the xrays they had taken, but they kept saying they didn't know how he had died, but probably from exposure. Back then, there was no way of contacting the scientists except by letter, and I didn't have an address. A few years later, it was then announced that Otzi had died after being shot with an arrow! That something so obvious had been completely missed by the "experts" has made me question so-called experts ever since.

My city has an almost obnoxiously ornate capitol building. My great uncles, for 3 generations, had the company that gilded the towers and cupolas. Another theory about the Olmec Heads is that the boulders were first carved into thrones for the rulers and then, after death, they were carved into the iconic heads. This idea came about because some of the thrones have been carved down partially into more of a rounded protohead-like shape.

The more times I hear people talk about how the American school system failed them, the more I appreciate the teachers I had in public school, because they did a great job compared to everyone else’s teachers apparently. Especially the history and science teachers.

There are a lot of killing scenes where I believe the spear markings show where to throw the spear to make the best kill. I believe the cave was an indoctrination ceremonial area where young boys(girls too?)were taken to tell them about hunting showing them where to throw their Spears and at what time of the year. Also as a gruesome side note I also believe that they killed Mares near foaling killing the near birth foal at the same time. A delicacy? Two for the price of one?

Simon is very special to me. I often quote a lot of things from casual primalist that nobody understands because I rarely find anyone as nerdy as I am.... simon is that nerd 🤓 and I greatly appreciate all the subjects he covers because they are all my interest.... well he could have a channel on bugs and weird animals and maybe strange clothing hauls but who knows what the future holds right? anyway here's to the new channels I proposed becoming his 19th and 20th channels he produces. go on channel I particularly love is brain blaze just because it shows the full Simon in all his glory. on no other channel is he so unhinged as that one, and I love every ounce of that caffeine fueled intensity. I am still in the market of buying me and several of my friends that asked me about My cult t-shirt because I have big plans for the Future....

“The American education system failed you and you didn’t know that there really was a civilization that did this” my fourth grade teacher carrying all the weight of my Native American prehistory (school) teachings: 💪👩‍🏫
To be fair to a few of my other later history teachers a few of them did cover more recent history surrounding Native American peoples and I’m pretty sure more than one covered the Aztecs and stuff. I just remember my fourth grade teacher covering prehistoric stuff and pre-contact stuff more than any of my other teachers and she was pretty good about it too. No shade to my sixth grade teacher who covered more modern stuff, but out of elementary school teachers (and my pre-k through 12 teachers in general) my fourth grade teacher was the best about covering stuff from the Clovis people to the snake mound to the Olmec people. Weirdly enough my seventh grade math teacher probably taught me the most about the Pueblo cities when she went over some math stuff that involved buildings. I don’t remember any of that math stuff but I do remember the Pueblo cities. I mean, desert cliff cities??? How cool is that?! Her classes also improved my ability to draw trees when she covered fractals. Not the information she intended us to remember, but it’s the information I do.

While the Olmecs are fascinating, it is not considered the first major civilization in the Americas. That would be the Norte Chico in Peru. They predated the Olmecs by two millennia. However, the Olmecs were the first major civilization in Mesoamerica. Still a fascinating people.
