Thanks mate! Yes, I did get the water salute, however, this was actually the trial run for this flight, so it didn't get the solute, but I did also catch the solute on the aircrafts first proper flight with pax.
Awesome capture there - only a few handful of destinations overseas you'll see a QantasLink branded I think namely Dilli in East Timor and Port Moresby in PNG - love flying on the Embraer E190 actually rate it over the 737-800 workhorse in the Qantas fleet
Thanks for the awesome comment. You’re right, QantasLink is not very common overseas. I’ve never flown on the Embraer E190, but it looks like a great plane.
@@KiwiPlaneVideosYeah i flew on the Embraer with QantasLink (operated by Alliance Airlines) Melbourne to Townsville back in January and it was a very comfortable flight. I remember quite some time ago Virgin had them too flew all the way from Perth to Adelaide on one - there no longer in VA fleet unfortunately
No point in commenting if you give the wrong information... this was indeed the first flight of this airline and aircraft to wellington from Brisbane, on its first trial run, with the flight no. QF6055, look it up!! Its flight time was exactly 2h 54m as well! Flights following this one will be under the number QF355.

Wow, Nice catch. Hopefully they will fly them into Queenstown.
Thank you. That would be awesome to see them in Queenstown. Fingers crossed.
We have tons of Embraers here in Toronto
That’s awesome! I would love to visit Toronto someday and see the Embraers there.
