In this British Holiday Camp ASMR roleplay you can expect a lot of rain, a lot of feigned enthusiasm, and plenty of sass, as Ben returns to orientate you and your loved ones at Blackpool’s latest holiday hotspot, the Camp Queen Holiday Camp (Blackpool).
Imagine, if you will, a remote, secure location where you are allotted a communal chalet and served gruel from heated trays at unusual times during the day. Your children are taken away during the daylight hours by flamboyant, ever-grinning officials in garish uniforms, leaving you alone with alcohol, your thoughts, and your regrets. You are forced to carry out obtuse activities throughout the long days, your only solace being the moments of peace they grant you, before they force you to watch them perform strange rites against the waxing moon, usually involving the ancient and mystical song ‘Agadoo’ by Black Lace. Welcome to a British holiday camp!
So, if you haven’t been to one (I haven’t), holiday camps are kind of this bizarre and quintessentially (read camp) British institution where organised fun is thrust down your throat. And poor old Ben, after his release from prison, discovers that his beloved B&B, the Camp Queen Blackpool, has been turned into one. Not only that, but he must work there… for his arch nemesis Mrs. Braithwaite. Anyway, hope you enjoy!

🎙 What is ASMR? 🎧
ASMR (autonomous sensory meridian response) is synaesthesia of the soul. It’s a relaxing feeling, it’s a tingling down the spine, or it’s simply a sleep aid. Whether it’s being ‘held’ by someone you have confidence in, or ‘looked after’ by someone with authority, or just feeling ‘safe’ with someone you trust, it uses audio-visual triggers to enable you to let go of your worries and stresses - even just for a bit.
📽 What is FPC? 🎞
FPC (first person cinema) takes all the relaxing elements of ASMR but has much more of a focus on immersion and the suspension of disbelief. It’s kinda like being the main character in your own short movie, with popular figures you know and love, or entirely created worlds - just for you. There won’t be any visible mics or traditional triggers in these videos, and they will seem more unintentional than the usual ASMR videos - but they are unique and relaxing experiences designed to transport you to different places, worlds, and times.

Dear Mr Doverson, I do remember you well from Pleasure Beach and thoroughly enjoyed your calisthenics. I am a champion toe toucher thanks to your excellent instruction and even received a blue ribbon at the local village fair one year. I especially remember your unusual technique fondly as something that always put a smile on my face. That spoon you used to correct our posture will go down as one of my favourite memories. I definitely sympathise the loss of the spoon too, I prefer a harder material like bamboo 😊

Jim, you're a very complex and creative man. Your channel is the premium kind of Asmr in this community. You virtually never run out of ideas and I'm amazed by your work ethic.
