    I recently picked up Tunisian crochet again after a years’ long break. I love your tip on the curling edges. I rarely do that in regular crochet because it’s hard for me to see. But patience pays off here - my piece is barely curling! Thank you so much! You are an excellent teacher 🥰 ETA: this stitch makes a fabulous cushy, thick fabric.

    You are a fantastic teacher. Thank you for the nuanced tips! Will this stitch be appropriate for a throw blanket?

      Yes, absolutely!

      @@HeartHookHome The stitch isn't reversible, though, is it? So really would not be appropriate for a throw blanket in that regard.

    I've always been too scared to try this but now I think I need to! Does it limit how wide your work is? Can it only be as wide as the number of loops you can fit on the hook? Thanks for this video!

      Tunisian is a lot of fun! But yes, you are limited to the length of your hook and how many loops you can fit on it. Tunisian stick hooks are typically long enough to fit a good amount of stitches onto...I have made up to 36" wide baby blankets with a tunisian stick hook...or there are cabled hooks that you can do much larger projects on. I have a post all about tunisian hooks here if you want to learn more: hearthookhome.com/tunisian-crochet-hooks-guide/

    I cannot find those hooks with the option to add the extension cable, can I ask where you buy yours and how are they called? Tunisian Afghan hooks don't do the trick x

      Hi! If you search for Cabled Tunisian Hooks, you should find plenty of options. I have an Addi Click set and a set from WeCrochet...Knitters pride, Hobbii, and Clover have some as well. You can also find some cheaper options on Amazon 😊

    Why the difference in chain and row count from last week. Thanks

    • @HeartHookHome
      @HeartHookHome  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi! The knit stitch is a bit more narrow and shorter than the simple stitch, so to maintain the same size square, we need to increase the the number of stitches and rows 😊

    Everybody says its so easy to do, and I can't do it. I can't keep up with all the loops. I could never knit because I couldn't keep up with all the loops. I have tried and tried and I can't do it. :(
