The way you explained voltage really clarified it for me (especially your interpretation as the amount of energy per coulomb and your analogies using block gradients & the ramp). Awesome video

Thank you!! Voltage can be conceptually difficult so I'm glad this helped!!

Technically V is sometimes used as the symbol for voltage, but it's better to use U as the symbol for VOLTAGE so you don't confuse it with the symbol for the measurement unit of VOLTS.
The capital V also refers to volume, which is another great reason to use the capital U for voltage...

That’s a very interesting take! For us, ap physics 2 doesn’t use volume all too often, so V is just assumed as voltage, and U is far more commonly used as potential energy. I also think having the units and the variable the same makes it much easier to remember!

@@gragbuilds Where i learnt physics, we use E_pot for potential energy. As for the unit and the variable being the same or not, it seems more orderly for me to have the unit and variable signified by different symbols, but that's just preference. At the end of the day all that matters is that the symbols are consistent, I had just recently woken up when I wrote the initial comment and i was more annoyed by your choice of symbol than I should've been.

Mhm!! Right now I have a lot of content focusing on ap physics 1, and I have good experience in precalc, which topic under precalc would you want the most?
