I am using the Bigz die on some folded over leather samples to make cover.. I'm wondering if I should glue the leather to some (laminated) card to make the leather less 'floppy'. (really pretty Spanish leather). Or should I just let the notebooks inside provide 'body'? Also, FYI, I'll probably add grommets to the holes. I've cut 13 so far and have 16 samples to go.
Has anyone used this technique and had their laminated sheet separate from the paper over time? Thats usually what happens to things I laminate if I don't leave a little border of clear laminate sheet around the edge of my paper. I'm wondering if it might work better to die cut the paper by itself, laminate the die cuts, and then use a paper trimmer to trim off the edges (and a punch for the holes), leaving a small margin along the edges? Also, I would really love to see a tutorial from Sizzix on how to make this with faux leather, pleather etc.

I have the Scotch brand too, it definitely separates when I cut to the edge. Also, that E6000 glue has a really toxic odor that never goes away even after it dries. It gives me such a bad migraine I can't use it at all.
Annette Green uses Beacon's 'Power-Tac' glue on metal pieces because of that awful toxic odor from E6000... I haven't tried it myself but maybe it would also work on laminated crafts??

LetiLaFlaca the Big Z only fits in the big shot plus correct. If so I’ll have to learn how to cut them myself possibly on my silhouette as my big shot is brand new. In fact I haven’t even used it yet. Thanks.
