Welcome to my channel. I am Sumathi Chintala and I am a mother of a 9year old autistic kid named Nushika. I am here to share my personal experiences and the struggles(and happinesses) we have encountered in raising an autistic kid. Early intervention is the key when treating Autism. I am hopeful my experience should bring the much needed awareness to this community and motivate the autistic parents that could help in the child’s progress.
This channel covers the journey of Nushika, the treatments, therapies and all sorts of medications that we followed for her development. I am not promoting any of the treatments through this journey. I am sharing my knowledge as a mother based on my personal experience.

You touched most of the points that a special child and family face. These challenges, cost, social acceptance and right to live equal 30 years back or now nothing much difference in society or government. The change in equal living possible only when every person holds responsibility to treat and support and lead forward together. It is sad even today we need to remind and request government to ensure global standards accessibility solutions in every public infrastructure they build or transportation. Are citizens behaving and respecting the when facilities are given. I have seen people driving on accessible footpaths built for walk paths and accessible to persons with wheelchair, I have seen people occupying space in public parking, using special need washrooms, getting into disabled train compartments, using lifts instead elevators. So much mis behaviour, sometimes I get confused who is real disabled. The change and awareness must start in every citizen, home and school on what , how and why no matter your child is disabled or not. Our education system need to make part of training to all teachers on basics for special child.

Very good points. INDIA should definitely develop when it comes to supporting special needs kids. In US, they offer support for all kinds of special needs kids in Public Schools and free of charge with reasonable-good (depending on school district our home falls into) quality standards.
