- Trout fishing can be excellent in Southern New Mexico. In this episode of Pautzke Outdoors we headed to Alto Lake only minutes from Ruidoso and caught and released limits of trout in a short evening. Join us to see how you can, too.

Your bait is amazing
Yes it’s great for trout
I buy your bait @ the Walmart in Ruidoso, NM before hiting the lakes. Best from ELPTX 👍🏽
Good choice!
love to see you try this in a natural habitat... should be a disclaimer that this works well at stock ponds, maybe not so well in the wild.
Hi Wes!
Thanks so much for watching! This video is about catching trout in Southern New Mexico - where the fish are stocked. Have a good day!
I was catchin’ some bluegill today with your red label salmon eggs. Worked like a charm!
Glad to hear it!
Awesome video 🐟🐟!!
I would love to see y'all go to some areas that have some large wild trout populations just to experiment and see how they would react to the eggs and doe baits better yet go to New Zealand that's where all the big boys seem to be but I know that got a lot of restrictions and a lot of just fly rod fishing but it would be super need if y'all could go over there and do it
We can't - no bait allowed. Salmon eggs work too well, which is why bait is outlawed.
@@TeamPautzke thanks for the reply I was just curious
Nice fishing bro
😁----awesome this is, what a job. make fish bait & fish all over the world while filming it.
Wanna see a video of the peeps next to monastery lake
What is that lake called
Where is the best place to fish Jemez currently I was at a creek in la cueva most of the places weren’t to good any suggestions of places there or anywhere that’s open
Xavier,
That's a great question for New Mexico Game & Fish. If you search our page we have dozens of videos filmed in Northern New Mexico, as well. But, we haven't filmed on the Jemez, yet.
Are you guys from NM?
Joe is a native!!!
