    Advice for consistency:
    1. Pick exercises you enjoy
    2. Listen to motivational music
    3. Reward yourself afterwards
    4. Maybe do it as your first thing on a day
    5. Build a routine: Same days, same time

Nah not rlly the only thing you really need to do in my opinion is to do the routine, when you start out it’s a good idea to try out many different excercises and find the ones that work best for you. Doing this I have created my own split. Music isn’t nescessary especially since he would be going with a friend

yeah, stay consistent, and one more thing. Going to the gym is how you can be a degenerate gamer! You go to the gym to be fit, so you can then sit on you butt all the rest of the day doing clash royale! It's what I do.

Hey dude on your question of how to stick to lifting/physical fitness: I’ve been working out pretty consistently for the past 6 years and the way that I’ve found success in staying with it is two fold. Firstly you have to find something you enjoy doing. This could be lifting weights or running or swimming or rock climbing or something else. Basically you have to enjoy the journey as you do it. Secondly, you have to set goals for yourself. Whether that is lifting a certain amount of weight on squat or running two miles at a certain speed etc. This allows you to feel like you are working towards something and allows you to gauge your progress. There are obviously lots of other things that may help but in my experience those two are crucial.

Gym bro/cr player here. Key to working out is consistency. Don’t go at it so hard at first that you hate it and quit. Make it fun and make it something enjoyable with friends or for example playing a sport you enjoy for cardio. Eventually you WILL fall in love with the progress and it will be easy. Best of luck!

Another good tip, in addition to motivation (by setting small goals, but also good music), is that you learn how to perform the exercises correctly. It is very important to hit the muscle precisely and not somehow move the muscles

  • @Cedistic

Take creatine when you start working out. Will help you with recovery. I recommend doing a PPL split (push pull lege) as well. Make sure to eat a lot of protein if you’re trying to build muscle - lean beef with rice, chicken, eggs. One thing that helps me with commitment is watching gymtok. It kinda inspires you and gives you motivation to keep going. Also going out with friends is a good motivator however your friends might get lazy and quit and so will you if you don’t have the motivation. Good luck on your journey Ryley and I’ll always continue to support you 👍 If you need more specific tips lmk. I’ve been working out for a while and major in kinesiology.

    Hi Man!
Actually, there are no many advices for your questiong about gym, but there might be a few. A really useful method is considering going to the gym as a free time fun activity, and it actually is.
Of course the start will be pretty hard, but with a friend helping you it's gonna be much better. Also, the best advice you can get is when you have no mood to go, you must go and tell it yourself, after a few weeks, you won't want to skip even a day. With good diet you will see the progress very fast.Good luck!🙌

I'm 16 and been working out since 14. biggest motivation for me to keep going is tracking my strength & muscle measurements, setting goals and every session going hard on my sets, and usually every session i end up doing a couple prs (getting more reps than last time with a given weight in an exercise, tho make sure u use the same technique & don't cheat your way through it) - that's it!

Honestly man just doing it on ur own time is key. Don’t do it because u or others hold an expectation of hitting the gym consistently. Years ago I would force myself to go because I was so lazy and half ass everything, when I just wanted to stay home and game. But then I just changed my approach, started going when I genuinely felt like it, don’t force anything on urself, but just challenge yourself. Don’t u want to be the best version of yourself? I would say working on your health and fitness is a great way to achieving that. U don’t have to go everyday, but then again if you genuinely don’t like going find something else that peaks your interest, (sports, boxing, track etc). Just sticking to what works for YOU is key, eventually it will turn into a hobby and you have to literally force yourself to take rest days bc ur so addicted to going to the gym.
Especially as a beginner your gonna be addicted to those beginner gains and the results, I promise ur never gonna want to stop.
I literally play clash Royale during cardio or in between exercises if I gotta wait,
    Good luck man,
Remember if you stick by this ur one step closer to being the best version of yourself you.

The sticking to it part for me was that i stayed really consistent for 2-3 months, saw really good results and from then on my mindset was like: I'm not skipping todays session, I dont want to shrink back to normal😂. But definetly be smart when you start, you can easily under-or over do it.

    @jayden9573 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

i know it sounds a lot easier said than done, but I think ian is right when it comes to what he tells you about working out. it's all truly just the mindset. instead of waking up and like dreading working out (which is how I used to be), i simply just look forward to the gym. it has turned into something where you can just get your mind off things like working, school, etc. another way it helps in my opinion is because it's something you can do and like progress in no matter what else is going on in your day, because you are in full control of the effort you put in and how your workout goes. if you read this i hope it helps, and also the videos have been bangers lately.

Getting to the gym is just about making so it works out for you. Different splits, workout times, whatever gets you there a couple times a week to begin with is all it takes. From there you get to know your strength better, which will make it easier to know when to go

I just started getting back into working out, and all I can say is fall in love with the progress you make, even if it's small, like you increased your pr by 5 lbs. Progress is what keeps me going and trying to beat PR's. Aswell in my personal opinion i don't go to the gym to look good and have that dream body I go only for strength.

It doesn't exist any magical tip to "stick" to that life style if you truly don't want to live that way. The only and healthy way to stick to it is if you truly want to do that and there is something that really motivates you, because if you do it forcing yourself only because its a healthy life style, trust me, you will get bored, frustrated or overwhelmed and will drop it eventually. So if you only go because a friend tells you to and just because you can be together and hang out some time, you will drop out sooner or later, convince yourself you actually want to get into that first.

if you think you’re tired and need to skip, do a light day. if a muscle hurts change it up a little or do slightly less
but keep going. “going to the gym” is hard, but having a ROUTINE to go to the gym is much easier. gotta drill the routine into your head like counting elixir and you’re good to go 🎉❤

Advice for the gym is really simple.
Everyone is talking about routine and consistency; they’re all wrong. When you first start out your muscles will take longer to recover. You can only start by going a few times a week, even less if you want; it shouldn’t be a forced thing like a job.
Last thing - The hardest part about starting the gym is walking through the door in the first place.

Find a gym partner if possible. This is the single best trick imo. For 30 days go with someone everyday (apart from the weekend) if your able to do it everyday for that whole month you should find it way easier to go afterward and if it's too hard then try inviting someone. Heck you can just keep going every time with people if it helps you out. The goal is to build a habit then you can reduce a bit but still keep it consistent like at least 3 times a week. Oh and never say you don't have time for it. If time is short try prioritizing it because trust me in the long run you'll thank yourself

For the gym motivation, if u want a piece of advice, what works best is stick to it in the long run, but that doesn't mean thinking about all the time and effort needed and bla bla, it means that it's ok to not do everything u can at the beginning forcing yourself. The goal is to enjoy the process so leave some room for yourself to decide and you will be in a situation less likely to procastinate. So like choose a nice goal (let's say 4 times a week) and a minimum goal that it's ok and you won't feel bad about it (so idk 1-2 times a week)
Cause it's ok to not be perfect and do a bit less if u don't feel like doing it

Advice for gym: just go. Even when you don’t feel like it just go and walk on the treadmill and watch TH-cam for an hour and a half and call it a cardio day. Don’t worry abt how much ur lifting because nobody will care or remember. Everyone is too focused on themselves and their pump. Take Creatine and get protein powder as it just makes it more of a routine. Try to go at the same time everyday and switch up exercises or routine when getting bored/stagnent. Don’t skip leg day as it makes ur core and upper body stronger as well (leg days increase overall testosterone) give yourself 2-3 rest days a week to recover and reduce chances of burnout. Take progress photos or get a scale. If there’s a sauna try to get in it once a week for abt 20 mins. Multi task in the gym, for example I will study in between sets if I have an exam coming up. Having a gym bro is fun but lifting by yourself can also be amazing. Just go and have fun.

Workout advice from a kindred spririt:
    1. Plan what you are going to do BEFORE you go. The mental energy it takes to BEGIN the workout is harder than getting through the actual workout.
    2. Bring headphones and listen to something. Ive quit early out of boredom before. Having something to keep my mind stimulated keeps me there longer.

You gotta learn to see working out for all it’s gonna help you and choose to see that over the inconvenience. Once you stick to it for a while it will be like second nature. It will probably even help you with clash Royale, it gives a lot of clarity to your mind. Any video game I’ve ever played, I played better if I did a workout earlier that day. Think of that and your brain will see more than one benefit and it will be easier to stick to if it’s constructive to your career.

if you want to be fit and workout it is something that you’re going to really want for yourself. it’s hard breaking the lazy habits but set a goal to go a few times and give it your all. just remember that you wont see results right away. stay dedicated and be patient with your results but just do it ryley. if you’re gunna start making a living off youtube then make sure your body is well taken care of, you got the time to do so 🤷‍♂️

If you want to start working out, I think the first step is to have a gym close to your house because if it is not the case you will have to do the route very often and it will discourage you with time but if this is ok for you just go working out and you will see the motivation will comme right along pretty easily.

I’m lazy too man. I find it difficult to stay consistent in the gym. Funny thing is, it’s always worth it and you will never regret being diligent about working out. Especially when you’re feeling like a million bucks all the time after a few short weeks. How many hobbies can you say that for? I’ll get back in the gym if you do! Always better to have a gym buddy

i am also a very lazy person but when my brother asked me to go to the gym with him i said yes and it worked out perfectly: you can always count on him for letting you do things you won't do on your own, and chances are you'll get excited about working out and return the favour with as much enthusiasm. In other words my advice is: just do it, once you start it will happen on its own without you even noticing

As for working out, I started recently and the only reason I've been so consistent is because I go with my roommate every time and we can motivate each other. If you have someone like that for you then now is better than ever for you to start your journey 💪

The best advice I can give is do something you can stick to every day (or 4-5 times a week.
If you’re going to the gym and killing yourself for 2 hours, you’ll never want to go again. Start off light with 30 minute sessions. You’ll think it’s easy and won’t mind doing it every day. Eventually you’ll build up to hour long sessions and honestly that’s all you need

Ryley, in regards to the whole work-out thing how about creating a schedule for it? Or perhaps working toward a specific goal would also be beneficial in the long run. Good luck

Yo Ryley have you considered the fact that CR rigs the matchups? Whenever I'm playing some hog variation I'm always up against some other hog variation, whenever I'm playing log bait, I'm up against a hard counter.

Go with Ian or another friend as often as possible. Really helped to get myself into the gym those first few months. As long as you make the gym a fun place to be at you will develop a habit of returning.

I will put it in a very simple way because it is very simple. The biggest thing about working out is consistency. If you want to work out bad enough, you will. Otherwise, I wouldn't recommend it because your going to quit anyway. Its just all mindset and consistency where the rest will natural fall along.

Even working out once a week is better than none. And will do a lot. Find something you enjoy and start off slow. You don't need to train like a pro

Gym: Start small track weight trust. Reduce weight embrace different pain.
Rotate muscle groups. Take it slow can do calorie timing, resting groth, deload break ( holyday for body once in a while), stair at hot gym people but do subtly. Fastfood after gym if at all.
Dancing group sport or team sport or balance stuff compound muscles are like skin somethimesur body has sheets.
    Bloodflow restrict pump = success
Sour burn = groth signal by sideprodut muscle ph basically burn = different = good
And muscle soreness microtears. Try cycle those and chase good feelings like energy superman
Also hands, bones, tendaments hurting = success stop before it hurts u already reached the level and can go home or train smth else it will get stronger.
Cognition is the chase body not so important so maybe experiment muscle body vs mind connection on your clash royal score (data analysis would be fun)
(Last one only when u feel like it)
Basically also feel the pleasure of broccoli 🥦 when hungry from gym. When eating eat more low cal but tasty food tasty : calories = good stuff score.
So tasty oil divided by calories = low
Discustibg veggetable roasted not bad : cal = still high score aince cal low division low
    This advice is experimental
Furthermore play evo skeleton pump and something rest serious maybe barrel peincess and some col stufd creativity high rank? Apprechate commentary inspiring

Try going with Ian the first time, it really helps and it's plenty of fun as well. If you both decide to go the same day every week, you can make video with him and start getting consistent. From then it's only an habit, that needs consistency

To get into the gym the first few months are the hardest because you don't know what you're doing. Going with friends who can help you out will show you the ropes and make it more enjoyable, then once you start seeing results then it just makes you want to go even more. Also, find exercises that you enjoy doing, for example if you hate doing squats there are many other leg exercises you can do, you will feel much more inclined to workout if you enjoy what you're doing. Good luck!!

My best advice as athlete is to fall in love with Push ups. Do 5 push ups every chance you get. And when you get comfortable doing them. You can do it effortlessly then you’ll start seeing progress. It’s pretty engaging when you set goals
