Actually, some of my ancestors were Germans who lived in Russia. They left for Argentina and later in life, my grandfather was born. I also have ancestors from Yugoslavia (I’m betting Serbia). But my name is mainly a joke, yes. I’m from a small town named Balcarce, where five-time World Champion Juan Manuel Fangio was born. Then I moved to Adelaide, Australia, which used to host the Australian GP. So I have no excuse to *not* like racing.
Piquet jr. actually became the first Formula E world Champion in 2015. And he’s been competing in Global Rallycross in 2014 and 2015 where he took 8 podiums and 2 wins .Since 2015 he’s been racing in the World Endurance Championship 4 podiums and a 3rd place at the 24h Le Mans race this year.
I always remembered Robert Richardson Jr. The only NASCAR race I've ever been to, Kentucky in 2007 in the Xfinity Series. He wrecked in qualifying and then again in the race, right in front of me and my dad's seat in turn 4 both times, and that's honestly all I remember him for.
This is a great list. Minus Nelson Piquet, none of these guys are memorable in NASCAR. Brian Ickler is most known for being a KBM guy in Trucks... & that's it. Robert Richardson Jr. is most known for his involvement in hard crashes in the Xfinity Series; Most specifically with Marcos Ambrose at Bristol in 2008 & Eric McClure's savage crash at Talladega in 2012. Chad Boat's most signature moment in racing is an ARCA flip at Kansas. I laughed when Paulie Harraka came up because the *ONLY* thing my racing buds & I remember him for was his 2012 Daytona crash taking Jason Leffler out & the Leffler fan of our group blasting me because Harraka at that time was being mentored by one of my favorites...
he drove for Front Row at Talladega in 2009. He's in that late wreck that Mark flipped over. His last NASCAR start was the 2016 Daytona 500 for BK Racing.
Robert Richardson Jr is the greatest nascar driver of all time. How could anyone forget the GOAT? He is also the greatest QB to ever step on a football field
How about never heard of? Started this video with a who's that? In fact, it was all 5. #2 Hadn't heard of him except the f1 news, so guess I'll be watching his truck career. Wow. I didn't forget, I never heard of them... Any of 'em. Did enjoy it 👍
Please tell me why you didn’t include Harakka’s mighty screw up in driving into the back of a competitors car on pit road, as cars were leaving at Sonoma in 2013? (That seems to be his only claim to fame)
I have always thought that Nelson Piquet Jr. (btw it's "pee-Kay") got scapegoated in F1. Had he not followed orders, he would have been sacked. Still, he had shown marked improvement from season to season and was on the short list of future Cup prospects after winning in trucks and Busch (it will always be the Busch series because I am old). It's a shame that Turner-Scott's rapid implosion ruined his NASCAR career as I think he would have been a Cup contender, though I'm glad that Justin Allgaier's career survived that particular shitstorm. Piquet has done a lot since leaving NASCAR, but I am left wondering what he could have done had he managed to stay.
My biggest dream: becoming a NASCAR driver.
My biggest nightmare: ending up on this list.
These are the exact thoughts that may soon be reality for Daniel Suarez.
So the Spanish intro *does* make sense.
By the way, Spanish is my first language.
@@TotoDG Interesting to know...always thought you'd be Russian, being the Soviet Onion and all.

Sorry I don't speak Despacito
I remember Paulie Harraka. He crashed on pit road at Sonoma after they got the command to start engines. Probably why he hasn’t had a start since
Paulie Harraka actually attempted to start a MENCS race @ Sonoma. He crashed into a BK Racing car on pit road coming out for pace laps, ending his day
I went to high school with Robert Richardson, Good dude He lived the dream, not too many of us can say that!
Paulie's cup debut at Sonoma was painfully short. Also, Piquet Jr made a cup start at Watkins Glen in 2015 driving the 77 car.
3more would be Stacy Compton, Robert Pressley, and Shane Hmiel. Awesome video by the way!
I'll never forget Shane Hmiel lol. He was crazy on and off the track
Shane probably would've been in a Top tier team if he hadn't had to retire..
Oh Paulie. One of the worst Cup debuts ever and I witnessed that disaster including the blunder on pit road.
Loving this series, keep it up lad
You forgot Robert Richardson Jr's Daytona 500 starts/mini cup career

Robert Richardson Jr raced in the cup series too
Good job on the spanish intro
Ryan ellis, drove for BK in 2016, then dipped
i believe he's DiBenedetto's PR guy now
Piquet Jr. also has one Cup start in 2014 in the Watkins Glen race for Randy Humphrey Racing and would finish 27th.
Boi you know I can’t understand Suarez
Thanks for the video!
richardson also made one start i believe in the cup series in either 2008 or 2009 at a plate track
he drove for Front Row at Talladega in 2009. He's in that late wreck that Mark flipped over. His last NASCAR start was the 2016 Daytona 500 for BK Racing.
I have the same birthday as Nelson Piquet Jr.
I remember when joey coulter was sponsored by FS1 in 2013
Great video my friend keep up the work. Hope you sell lots of cars soon
Some ideas for the next installment:
Miguel Paludo
Todd Kleuver
Eric Darnell
Drew Herring
Patrick Carpentier
Mountain Dew Cup Series drew is a pretty good guy, never met him, but his family has money, as far as I know of, he still does some testing for Gibbs
I think Piquet could’ve actually turned out well, but I think him starting to develop an attitude issue was what ended his career
Didn't Robert Richardson run some Cup races too on the plate tracks
yes he did, and his team start-and-parked some 2012 Cup races w/Scott Riggs as the driver.
Bruh you’re Spanish is on point. This is a weird coincidence because I’m leaving on vacay to go to South America tomorrow
Next on the list:
Keiichi Tsuchiya
Milka Duno
Larry Foyt
Scott Pruett
Jason Leffler
areasevenpro Jason Leffler died in a 2013 drag racing incident
Fun Fact, Paulie Harracka is in the #12 in Nascar 14(or 15 one of the two),
I bet many on you don't remember Nelson Piquet Jr actually ran in cup. It's was either Watkins Glen 2013 or 2014. He was the 77
People only really remember Piquet in NASCAR for that nutty crash in 2012 at Daytona
Chase Montgomery
Joey Miller
Terry Cook
Brandon Whitt
Terry cook had a terrific truck career
Yee
Kirk Shelmedire? Steve Grissom? Kevin LePage? Justin Lofton? Chad Chaffin
Next list: lake speed, Jody Ridley, Ron Bouchard, Tim George jr, ward burton
Definitely not Ward Burton.. Nobody could forget 'ol Marble mouth..
I honestly didn’t know that was his nick name
@@marcuswong_51 It's what we always called him...
👍
Also harraka was in NASCAR 14' some how
Isn't Paulie harraka known for hitting some money before they even got off Pit Road at Sonoma
Yes
0:47 already off the bat the word corona appears
Could you do an episode with 5 drivers who are forgotten but have a win in trucks or xfinity?
Johnny Rumley comes to mind
I love these
Robert Richardson Jr is the greatest nascar driver of all time. How could anyone forget the GOAT? He is also the greatest QB to ever step on a football field
Taylor Maggard RRJ the GOAT? Please don't insult the real GOAT in NASCAR Michael Waltrip with that comment
Brandon Whitt

I really thought NPJ would make it to the cup series
Chad chaffin, lake speed, debra renshaw, chrissy wallace and dennis setzer.
I got this upload, thank God!
I mean, I got it in the middle of the night, but I live in Australia, so it’s fine.
Y yo sí hablo español.
Piquet raced the 77 at the glen in 2014 you forgot
I forgot about Ickler
Forgotten nascar driver: Karun Chandhok, Former F1 Driver
Please tell me why you didn’t include Harakka’s mighty screw up in driving into the back of a competitors car on pit road, as cars were leaving at Sonoma in 2013? (That seems to be his only claim to fame)
HA, jokes on you! I’m Hispanic, so I DO know Spanish! So much for “didn’t think so”. 😈
Richardson jr did some cup races and you left that out
Milk and cereal, milk and cereal , cereal and milk ,cereal and milk

Why the hell do people incorrectly pronounce names. It’s pronounced peekay. Not pickay.
jeremy mayfield
Are you joking? Lol
Also I’m not sure because I haven’t watched them all but it’s slipping my mind who that girl was that used to drive the 70 car in the Xfinity series
Richardson did make cup starts lol
