A superb performance from the Assam Rifles military band. A really well prepared show and a treat for our eyes with a great and strong music on the background. A mix of great choreography with the amazing sound of drums and bagpipes that takes the sense of rhythm to all another level.

The band's side-to-side swaggering and swaying is not something appealing for the viewer. Please watch "Massed pipes & drums parade to the 2018 Braemar Gathering Royal Highland Games in Scotland (4K) for a comparison. Most bagpipe bands in England, Scotland and Europe are a sight to behold, and free of the antics displayed by the bands in India and Pakistan.

Nevertheless there a certain verve which I find interesting and refreshing. Precision is found in the Scots version, energy and dance in India. Both are welcome, both indicate love of the art and the country.
