650L will loss a lot of power with a aftermarket header. Stock is better..
Except for an fmf power bomb. It's not a larger diameter than stock so it keeps the low end torque. It's for the look in most cases.

I just picked up my xr650 last week! I have slip on pipe, smog delete and tail light coming! I don't know if I will go as crazy as you because you have a lot of fine details more then I think I have ever seen on a bike no lie and your bike came out amazing its the cleanest most tasteful Xr650 I have ever seen! Whole bike 🔥

Great job! I like the new color scheme. I got a new 2016 XR650L
I put a exhaust, jetted carb, threw away that smog crap, put on a better sprocket ⚙️, rear rack with rotopax, subframe reinforced, skid plate, usb port, but so far the best improvement for me being 6’-5” tall was getting bar risers & much bigger foot pegs. Wow what a huge improvement in comfort. Wanna do a better seat, bigger gas tank, pro taper bars,switch to smaller lighter lithium battery & buy more riding gear! Dude you will be pleased with your purchase as I am even this being my first motorcycle. Ride safe, Ride Red!

@XrCustomCycles is it simply a remove the bolt and screw In the new bolts or do I have to ensure the correct spacing/ torque

Awesome job but you left the stock battery. I highly recommend the battery relocation it makes a big difference in handling especially off road

I haven’t tested the temp after riding, I just put it on for long rides
