If you enjoyed this video, later in the year we stayed On two campsites in Central London, and documented the whole thing, it was so bizarre, here's the video th-cam.com/video/hYR26BSbEHs/w-d-xo.html
We stayed at Porth Beach a couple of years ago (£20 per night) Liam your not paying £50 a night for the view of the beach it’s because IMO we now have people that just rip us off, we now only ever stay on very small family run sites which are amazing
So appreciate your travels and sharing with us all. Sorry that the campsite was so costly and did not offer more. Such as WiFi. As always your attitude to seeing the positive is so inspiring in a world where many immediately get grumpy and make it worse for all. The next stop you made Harlyn Bay, the sea is beautiful with the sun out and windy just spectacular. Morgan is a champ. The small town is so cute with the all year round Christmas shop. How quaint. I watch your shopping as I am not a vegan and thought it would be so difficult. I see the nutrition value. Thank you for taking me on your traveling in Morgan. Loving it.
Liam and Janine, it has been ages since I've watched one of your videos. This video was fab and fun to watch. And I look forward to catching up on your journey. Debra
I lived in Ann's cottage that was part of the old dairy right on "old polzeth " seafront. Literally within ten steps outside the door I would be walking in sand! What I see here is awful from the village I remember 45yrs ago. In the winter the steep hill cut us off but biscuit tin lids sliding down icy roads was great! An no school bus lol huge bonfire on the beach an council putting it out two days later lol, all good memories.
Hey guys, Firstly you guys are seriously the best humans. Honestly watching your videos makes so happy. Your life looks simply amazing. Apart from the hick ups you've had getting Morgan ready in the earlier days and a few dodgy moments along the way your life is an absolute joy to be part of. You are clearly living your best life. I have to say i am very envious every time i watch your videos. What i cant get my head around is how little time you spend in certain places. Its such a shame you cant stay longer but i know you're on a tight time frame. Going to Cornwall then back to the midlands is bonkers. I'm from the Midlands so i know how far the miles are that your travelling. Seriously keep living your best life as i'm vicariously living my life through you guys. Everything about your travelling from the places, the food and the people is amazing. Roll on Sunday for more videos. As always stay safe look after each other and stay cool. xx
Waah! This is the life, sun, sea, surf. The vegan camp out looked seriously good. I noticed it for the first time too, it getting slightly darker earlier. Great video. Your hard work is appreciated.
Love following you guys, such a great vibe and great production and editing, the care shows. (Bet you were well miffed with the sensor dust in this episode🤦♂️). Hope Morgan's work is going well and look forward to more adventures in 2023. 👍👏
Have just looked up Porth Beach site out of curiosity , 1 night 2 people next month with electric up to £84 !! even without electric small pitch £72 ! but as long as people are prepared to pay these prices they will continue to go up. Enjoy the vlog by the way, keep up the good work.
There is a gadget on eBay to hold the button in on those type of shower taps. Or, just use a re-useable cable tie. Excellent video yet again. Thanks so much for taking the time to film and share. Mack and Maggie, Huddersfield
Unimaginably gorgeous beaches. I never expected to see that in the UK. Thanks for taking us along, though I get exhausted with your pace. Stay safe and well.
Honestly, with the increased rates of global warming, UK tourism could quite easily promote their bailiwick as a tropical holiday destination, especially to the ex-colonies in the global South. And to the home folks; "Stay home and soak up the sunshine."
Porth Beach campsites have always been expensive but wow! I only stayed there once for Run-To-The-Sun (long time ago). The Mermaid was always our favourite pub in the area but we preferred to camp at Watergate Bay.
Loving the adventure guys, make sure you check out Porthcothan and Treyarnon Bay when you return to Cornwall. Never spend more than £20 - £26 a night at a site. Keep on sharing, I always like to see what you find next 👍👍 amazing.
When you pitched up at Polzeath you looked exactly like how I feel when I get back to Treyarnon ( near Harlyn!) Nothing like getting back to your favourite beach in the camper van and getting the board out!
Seeing your wooden body board reminds me of the boards our family had when I was a child. My father made one for each of us. Lots of great memories surfing in Pembrokeshire.
Welcome to our home town. Cornwall will rob you blind because of our gorgeous beaches/view. We did not know that the porth beach campsite was that EXPENSIVE. We are staying at the Sands Resort Hotel and Spa in September this year and it is not much more money than you paid. We shall not be staying there for that amount, well over priced. Great video again guys, we really enjoy following your travels.
Hi. Other thing I use is Tefal single electric hob. It needs 240v. Providing you use it on level 2. It will not eat your power bank. I cook on electric in evening and tea or coffee use gas, obviously gas lasts longer this way even in winter Wish you Well
Love Porth & watergate Bay next door. I refuse to stay there £50 and no electric is truly shocking. Cofton, Devon, in high season is around £40 with electric, free pool, all new and spotless. Shops, restaurants etc. Love seeing my part of the world. Got a big smile on my face 😊
Just seen my works van. Was a pleasure meeting you briefly as you pulled up in Perranporth right where i was working the other week. Wish i had a selfie with you both.
I think it's £50 because it's a prime tourist location and it's a holiday park, they're never cheap, we stayed in the campsite right next to Hollywell Bay a few years ago, it was beautiful there!
God this made me crave the beach! I think I will have to spend my weekend there! I feel for you when you got the campsite but it wasn't what you thought. It is so annoying when it happens! But glad you made the most of it. And my god that festival looked AMAZING! Janine looked gorgeous, as always, and it seemed like an amazing time. Really fun video!
Wonderful, thank you. You must be around here now, Tintagel! Don’t forget to visit Vega in Tintagel, Buddhas Kitchen in Launceston and Roots Lounge in Bude. You will have gone by the time we hold our north Cornwall Vegan Fair in Bude on 13th August, which is a shame, as it should be fun.
I stayed at Porth Beach holiday park in 2018. We hired a caravan and it was definitely on the expensive side. They made a point of mentioning to us on more than one occasion that we had to clean our caravan at the end of our stay, which wasn't necessarily a problem but certainly felt a lot different to the other holidays we've been on where they come in and blitz it after you've gone. That being said, I'd just found out my partner was pregnant with our first child at the time, I'll always remember that beach and the moment I saw a Kestrel in action hunting by the cliff/duned after I'd been to a local bird show - great memories. Anyways, there something really unique about your channel, I think it's the presentation of your videos and the feel of nostalgia you instil into me with these quaint places. Subscribed and you must, must, keep up the good work!
Great video as always, Porth is the nearest beach to where I live, so sorry to have missed you! Janine, can I ask where your lovely cardigan in this video is from? x
Absolutely fabulous video. As for the campsite, I wouldn't even think about paying £50 for one night even with electric. The festival looked great fun.
Sorry I missed you at camp out! I did catch a glimpse of Morgan when I was walking the dog one evening and he really is massive!! Well first ever since 15 years of van life I paid for a camp site...on Dartmoor for £16 at this most delightful quirky wild paddock camp...with an oak surrounded paddock all to myself for two nights...miles from any main roads and the sound if nature and the river Teign close by...extraordinary place for walking in forest shade (in this crazy heat) along the course if the Teign to Fingle Bridge and back...delightful
Comming from a famous surfer family, you can look it up in the Guiness Book of World Records-David Nuuhiwa Sr. (my Mom’s brother) and David Nuuhiwa Jr (my cousin and son yes of David Sr.), the body board is it a different one but absolutely makes sense agains those foam filled ones that are not biodegradable and pollute the ocean. Glad to hear your support. Please leave any information you can. Cheers.
Get yourselves up to Kilvrecht campsite near Kinloch Rannoch. It's about £12 a night without the leccy hookup. Quite basic facilities but reflected in the low price. Or Sheigra beach. No facilities at all, but it's a £5 honour donation.
£50 no electric is outrageous by even a seasoned campers standards. The whole country though, camp sites, hotels etc are all upping the costs because more people are staying in the UK because of the recent 2 years difficulties.
Another great video. I can't see why you would pay £50 for that campsite either. You could get a hotel for that. The live video was cool. Shame about the abrupt ending, but I'm sure you will do another one at some point. It's lovely to see all the beaches (when I'm in the landlocked Midlands). I would love to live by the sea. Vegan Campout looks amazing. On my wish list too. Good to see you having some time for fun. Stay safe and happy travels x
You drove past one of the best campsites between Porth and Harlyn! Bedruthan Steps Camping! Where the Tipis were! 14 acre field on the cliffs, park where you like! Stunning!
The thing is that once parked there you could just stay there & walk to the beach each day. Or walk into town for supplies. For a family that is an economical holiday, as long as the sun shines. If it starts raining you might need to go in search of something else to amuse the kids.
Wow that was an expensive campsite. Can't wait to see your reaction when you go abroad.campsites are cheaper.but you won't need to go on them as there are so many places to free camp.and parking aires. This is a lovely video. The beaches look wonderful. And the festival looked great.the food looked so tasty
Its great to see You guys Living the summer dream 🌞 freedom on the road ...superb beaches ...cool festivals ..awesome Locations..catching up with friends..good food..doesn't get better than that guys. Janine you Looked stunning at the vegan campout😘 You 2 are great viewing thanks again for bringing us along .👍
Been watching you now for a few weeks you give a lot of content in your vlogs i find them very interesting and they seem to keep coming regularly. You must put a lot of work into them.
This was awesome! I was on the live stream so good to get the background info. That's really terrible that site cost that much and you had to pay for the wifi which didn't work well in the end anyway. Way to keep your chins up! The festival looks amazing!!
Porth beach is great but ive always stayed 5 mins down the road at Bedruthern Steps pop up campsite about £10 per night the views and sunsets are unreal !
Loved the video and I never knew there was a nudist beach at Perranporth. The beach is beautiful though one of the best in Cornwall. Look forward to watching more videos and getting some ideas of where to visit.
Hi Guys. When you return to the South West, there's a stunning toll road that runs from the Valley Of The Rocks outside Lynton along the North Devon coast that feels very special and has some of the best views I've ever seen. Might be worth a punt. Just avoid Porlock Hill in the same area unless you really trust your brakes. Much love, Jon xx
ABSOLUTELY SUPERB. I am in awe of how much you do, how much you travel and how dedicated you are to your channel. Iv said this before..... There are tv shows that do not have the same level of quality filming as u peeps. Oh and..... What an adventure with Liam having just lef the sea and then jumping into the driving seat for a long drive. And the issue with the fridge. Blimey what an adventure!!!!!!! Hope the festival was wonderful for u. Namaste and Blessings to the best vloggers. Kas ❤️🕉️❤️🕉️❤️🕉️❤️🕉️❤️🕉️❤️
We stayed there for two nights and had to leave because the ground was so soft my car was sinking in it .I have to say it was I think 1975 and literally the site had just been built it was £5 per night then...still expensive back in the day
Well guy's have just finished watching all your Cornwall vlogs, I lived in Falmouth for 10 years from 1972-1982 spent my teenage years all over Cornwall , (I know exactly where my van can go & not go lol) especially surfing the north coast. Had a Touring caravan 10 mins walk from the beach in Polzeath in a field permeant pitch from 95-21 when my boys were off school we spent all summer down there living the dream, surfing is 🏄 🏄the dream xx
Interesting perspective of the UK...fun ride. You both have such a way of opening people's better selves.😀😀😀 I don't see either of you pissing off anyone. Love the board that doesn't pollute the ocean. Could have been worse--broken glass etc Yay, for napping, dollying up, tidying up and PPPPPARTYYYYYY!!!
I must agree £50 a night is a little extreme in the UK for a prime location near Newquay, we have recently returned from Ireland and paid 57 euro for a one night stay just outside Galway where the showers were 1 euro extra. (We did get a free family apple pie on entry though )
As always love your vids as they are real. £50!! Next time stay at Gwithian at churchtown farm it’s right on the beach and you would have loved the jam pot cafe. Loving the series though. Just wanted to say though get yourselves into Europe it’s so so much easier, you will have no problems at all with Morgan. Get the camperstop book and app and also ACSI card too so if you do need to stop on a campsite for recharge/laundry day etc you get at much reduced price. Trust us the UK is the hardest country to travel through in a camper… Europe is covered in Aire’s and Stellplatz, loads of places to fill water and drop grey and black waste etc. love the channel.. look forward to next episode.
busy campsites do nothing for me, the older i get the more i love peace but wow it all looked lovely xx thanks for sharing your adventures …. appreciate the hard work you put in for the videos xx great job guys xx
Hi Liam and Janine, we know Harlyn bay so well as take our tourer to Padstow touring park. You can do a great walk along the coast from there to Trevone Bay. We were there in June. Polzeth ,as the locals say , great walk from top car park along to Daymer Bay. Really enjoyed this vlog, thankyou. Safe travels xx
Hollywell Bay my favourite beach in the world. Every few years the old church of supposedly of St Piran becomes visible with the shifting sands. A magical place for sure.
Another great video, very expensive campsite and no electrical hookup. Keep up the good videos. You always seem in a hurry, I thought van life would be slow, with all the time in the world!

Thank you, we do work hard 💪 🙏
Did I see your van in Porthleven on 8 July?
Could I ask what camera you use to shoot your fabulous videos?
Potentially was us!
Hi. What's the secret of getting into some of the beachside car parks please?
It's mid July, expensive time of the year for any camp site.
This was awesome! I was on the live stream so good to get the background info. That's really terrible that site cost that much and you had to pay for the wifi which didn't work well in the end anyway. Way to keep your chins up!
The festival looks amazing!!
Was ace, thanks so much for watching
Was that an Elliot Smith track you used on the outro ? I could not find the credits for the music in your description
Your soundtrack is nice and straight to the point for people thats “going for what is calling them.” Cheers
What wonderful weather you’ve had for your Cornwall trip. Great vlog again. Thanks muchly. x

How many Drones have you lost, in any shape or form, taking exclusive videos of your travels? Most spectacular!
Come close to losing it all the time haha
Loved the video and I never knew there was a nudist beach at Perranporth. The beach is beautiful though one of the best in Cornwall. Look forward to watching more videos and getting some ideas of where to visit.
Wales next 👌

Might be worth a punt. Just avoid Porlock Hill in the same area unless you really trust your brakes. Much love, Jon xx
Hi mate I think we saw it! Check in tomorrow's video if it's the one
You're both rockin that tan and that festival looked really fun with Janine looking like the belle of the ball!
🌞🌞🌼🌼
Absolutely brilliant vlog....I loved everything about it. You both just fill the screen with sunshine. Thank you x
🌼🌞💚
Woke up today & watched your video with a morning cuppa.
Love your channel 🙌
☕️👍
You'd love the festival kas, thank you 😊
We stayed there for two nights and had to leave because the ground was so soft my car was sinking in it .I have to say it was I think 1975 and literally the site had just been built it was £5 per night then...still expensive back in the day
Yeah I think they must have known the location will always make it a premium site
Wow great podcast, fantastic festival 👍👍🙏
Hi there.
Love your channel, A quick question if you don’t mind.
Was there a charge for the laundry on top of the site fees ? Thanks Helen
Yup
Well guy's have just finished watching all your Cornwall vlogs, I lived in Falmouth for 10 years from 1972-1982 spent my teenage years all over Cornwall , (I know exactly where my van can go & not go lol) especially surfing the north coast. Had a Touring caravan 10 mins walk from the beach in Polzeath in a field permeant pitch from 95-21 when my boys were off school we spent all summer down there living the dream, surfing is 🏄 🏄the dream xx
Immense 🤙🤙
Interesting perspective of the UK...fun ride. You both have such a way of opening people's better selves.😀😀😀 I don't see either of you pissing off anyone. Love the board that doesn't pollute the ocean. Could have been worse--broken glass etc Yay, for napping, dollying up, tidying up and PPPPPARTYYYYYY!!!
I truly enjoyed this vlog too.. The concert, food and fun at the end, was everything.. Live life to the fullest ✨️...
🤙✌️🍳
That was very good thank you we spent our youth in Cornwall in the sixties thank so much for the memories
Pleased you enjoyed it, thank you for joining us twice a week 😀
Greatness!! Loved this episode ❤️
🔥❤️
Have you ever thought of a tent, or something. So when you are in tight spaces just pitch the tent and leave the van where you can get to.
Not a bad idea, it's something we would consider for certain situations
I'm blessed to live in Cornwall, not far from Polzeath. Love watching your videos 😊
You are so lucky
@@ThoseHappyDays you guys are the lucky ones... Living the dream! 🙏
Janine you looked so pretty at the festival. Loved the video, brilliantly filmed and edited as always. Thanks for sharing guys xx
❤️❤️❤️
I must agree £50 a night is a little extreme in the UK for a prime location near Newquay, we have recently returned from Ireland and paid 57 euro for a one night stay just outside Galway where the showers were 1 euro extra. (We did get a free family apple pie on entry though )
I’ve been to the Watering Hole in Perranporth, lovely beach. X
Yeah love it there 💚
As always love your vids as they are real.
Holywell beach has been used to film lots of tv series including Poldark!
Really 😲
busy campsites do nothing for me, the older i get the more i love peace but wow it all looked lovely xx thanks for sharing your adventures …. appreciate the hard work you put in for the videos xx great job guys xx
Thanks for joining us on a Wednesday and Sunday, means a lot ❤️
Wow Janine looked well glamorous going to the show, you both make a lovely couple.
😍👍
Nice to see Perranporth again. Not been for many years. You certainly look healthy and I can see how much you enjoy this part of the country.
❤️❤️❤️
It was so nice to meet you both at the camp out and you made our day when we spotted our little Maggie in the video. See you next year 💚💚
Ah you guys were the best, great advocates for veganism ❤️ Can't wait to see you all again 😀
Woah!!!
Another great video, very expensive campsite and no electrical hookup. Keep up the good videos. You always seem in a hurry, I thought van life would be slow, with all the time in the world!
Van life and travel is however you want it
The food at the festival looked amazing
Honestly was incredible
@@ThoseHappyDays did look really good, £50 was a rip off thought
