Erusea's "recent" fictional history, with the monarchy, coup and junta/dictatorship, then a return to the monarchy, reminds me of Spain's history in the 20th century, or the 1960s junta in Greece that overthrew the local monarchy, but was eventually replaced by a democratic regime again in the 1970s. Might have provided some real world inspiration to the devs.

It would be interesting to see if the player in AC7 is an Erusean pilot fighting to free his country and return the royal family as true rulers, then Mobius 1 turns out to be the main antagonist fighting for the Allied forces.
The tanker thing probably doesn't point to Osea having a hand in Operation Katina. It most likely had those insignias because PA was reusing the tanker asset from AC5's primary campaign, since the markings on a tanker are usually not the most forefront concern for players. This method can be seen again in Ace Combat X. Even though Aurelia is a nation in the Osean Federation, there was absolutely no indicator that Osea ever got involved in the Aurelia-Leasath War. That and several of the enemy's voice clips used in the game were ripped directly from Ace Combat 5. Also, the dead officer the ISAF found at the end of Operation Autumn Thunder was the Supreme Commander of the Erusean military, most likely killed when Mobius 1 destroyed the other 4 escaping helicopters, as evident by the enemy's chatter during the mission. Anyways, that's my thoughts on the matter. Hopefully they shed some light on how Erusea was able to go from nearly crippled in every militaristic sense (thanks to a certain ISAF Ace) to feeling that they have the ability to wage war against one of Strangereal's largest superpowers (especially since Osea had access to the ADFX-01 and ADF-01 after the Circum Pacific War).

Mobius 1 agree, all you have in X-02 is 6AAM, SOD, and QAAM, , gotta play the cards right to get hell of a score, the only other plane I consistently getting higher scores with is the F-22A M4 since I've leveled it up higher than X-02
I like the video, but I'm still not sold on the theory that Erusea had any sort of monarchy during the second usean continental war. Given that the name of the country at that time was "the federal republic of Erusea" suggests that it had abandoned all trappings of monarchy. In your example of Italy, the Mussolini dictatorship still called itself the kingdom of Italy. I would suggest that Spain is a better real world example, as a country that abolished the monarchy, had a brief period as a republic, then fell into dictatorship. At the end of the dictatorship the monarchy was restored. I like the theory that the girl found near the supreme commander's body was actually the princess, but iirc there was a small piece of dialogue that suggested that the woman and child were his wife and daughter respectively. My suspicion is that the monarchy was imposed by the allies after The continental war. The cause of the conflict in AC7 is still uncertain (something to do with the space elevator but what exactly?) it might be that a third party is responsible for the conflict ala AC5 especially since it looks like Erusea is being portrayed more sympathetically this time around.

I especially loved this one with how you were able to use Italy as an example of a possibility of how Erusea has gotten to where it is going to be in Ace Combat 7. This was awesome!
That remains of a male officer found after the mission is implied to be that of the supreme commander, who refused to escape until he has gathered his family according to radio chatter. I don't know if supreme commander was the right title, but it was definitely "something" commander as I remember. It was, in from what's implied in-game, the title of the leader of state, but not exactly monarch. I think Erusia became a kingdom after AC4, but it's hard to think about a monarchy forming in modern times.
bersley reyes it can, it's political, history shows that most monarch are put onto the throne by other powers to legitimize political power of those who reinstated it. In our world is difficult, but Strangereal is a world where Osean aka United States of that world is surrounded by other nation that does not like it. No matter how much good you do, it's bad for them. The Balkan War is an example where the superpowers gone too far. It's a far scarier world because everyone possessed supreme technology and where ace pilots make or break nations.

Really well made and explained video! I do agree that the girl found with the officer probably was the Princess of Erusia in AC7. I actually made an error when I first heard that in the game, I thought the guy talking over the radio said there was a girl and a boy instead of a woman and a girl, which therefore made be believe the man had found the storyteller boy and the barkeeper's daughter, and that the dead officer with the insignia was the body of Yellow 13 (which I know makes no sense since the storyteller boy said they never got to see Yellow 13 ever again after he took off after Möbius 1). Also, during that time of mislead piecing it made me think that just maybe the "princess" in AC7 was the barkeeper's daughter years later, as the daughter and the princess both have similar blond hair. However that being said I do believe your explanation makes MUCH more logical sense and gives me new insight into what could be ahead in AC7. Thanks a bunch! I can't wait for AC7 :D
I don't think the Erusian leader was captured. I'm not sure what the Japanese captions might be, but the word "remains" in the English captions would mean that what the ISAF forces found was a corpse. So I'm fairly certain that he's dead, not captured. But the idea of his family - that is, the surviving wife and daughter - being instated by the occupying ISAF forces seems logical enough to me. Excellent video, the "documentary" style is very cool, I'd definitely like to see more.

That's a fan made map so we cannot take everything as it is that. The shape of the continent's seems accurate if we don't mind the small details however several countries are fan made and we cannot consider their name/borders/cities as either official or accurate. I am not sure who made it but without doubt that is one of the best fan arts about Ace Combat ever created and a very good map.

Well done and I'm not sure to what would have Happened to Erusea post Lighthouse War I'm guessing that the Princess tried the Erusean Radicals because they might have been backed by Belka. Therefore Ace Combat 8 has to comeback to Belka and destroy them a 2nd time
See, I think what we should be focusing on here is not how Erusea became a Kingdom but that it IS a kingdom now. A transition like that is a very great change in history (Remember there are 10 years between 5 and 7), which could shed light on the actual AC7 story, as we all know the legend of Razgriz.
What if Wardog wasn't the Razgriz... What if the prophecy of the Razgriz was actually somehow referring to Erusea? They were a demon during AC04, now they are reborn as a heroic country, and our pilot will start out as an OSEAN pilot before switching sides to the good guys?

AC04 did ? I know ACZ had that pretty cool trailer that also shows things that don't happen ingame (The paratroopers), but I don't remember anything about 04's pre release.
Ramash440 I mean Paratroopers were in that one mission of ACZ, I think it was called Flicker of Hope... But AC04 had an intro of sorts it just wasn't anything major plot revealing, just some nice poetry and then fighter jets (you can actually change one of them if you change your aircraft in free flight and then fly in a mission, exit it, and then go to the title screen)
I would compare the creation of the Usean alliance more to the Non-Aligned Movement of the IRL Cold War, which was meant to create a bloc of countries that declared themselves to have no ties to the USA or USSR. The founding countries included communist Yugoslavia, semi-democratic India, authoritarian Indonesia and Egypt, as well as Ghana, so it wouldn't really matter what the government type was.

Well done and I'm not sure to what would have Happened to Erusea post Lighthouse War I'm guessing that the Princess tried the Erusean Radicals because they might have been backed by Belka. Therefore Ace Combat 8 has to comeback to Belka and destroy them a 2nd time

See, I think what we should be focusing on here is not how Erusea became a Kingdom but that it IS a kingdom now. A transition like that is a very great change in history (Remember there are 10 years between 5 and 7), which could shed light on the actual AC7 story, as we all know the legend of Razgriz.
What if Wardog wasn't the Razgriz... What if the prophecy of the Razgriz was actually somehow referring to Erusea? They were a demon during AC04, now they are reborn as a heroic country, and our pilot will start out as an OSEAN pilot before switching sides to the good guys?

Volans, Toa of Air let me get this straight...if the officer,woman,and girl from the cutscene were members of the Royal Family,and the young woman from the AC7 trailer was the princess(with the possibility of Mobius 1 returning)...does that mean...this is a Braveheart rip off? I'm saying this because it looks like Erusia wants to break free from foreign power and gain their Independence. I hope the Princess and Mobius 1 are friends at least...just don't have them hook up.

AC04 did ? I know ACZ had that pretty cool trailer that also shows things that don't happen ingame (The paratroopers), but I don't remember anything about 04's pre release.
Ramash440 I mean Paratroopers were in that one mission of ACZ, I think it was called Flicker of Hope...
But AC04 had an intro of sorts it just wasn't anything major plot revealing, just some nice poetry and then fighter jets (you can actually change one of them if you change your aircraft in free flight and then fly in a mission, exit it, and then go to the title screen)
I would compare the creation of the Usean alliance more to the Non-Aligned Movement of the IRL Cold War, which was meant to create a bloc of countries that declared themselves to have no ties to the USA or USSR. The founding countries included communist Yugoslavia, semi-democratic India, authoritarian Indonesia and Egypt, as well as Ghana, so it wouldn't really matter what the government type was.
They can definitely fling back to threatening levels, especially since they have XFA-27 super jets

This is Brigadier General tuck 2121 apparently I got promoted anyways that was mighty fun video very informative I've actually played most of the games I've been in Ace Combat fan since air combat apparently in Japan it was called Ace Combat Ace Combat didn't become until 3 in the US and I'm assuming Canada but I'm not sure on that one of my favorite songs is we have so far to go but that may not be the name of the song and my other favorite is the very last song in the credits of Ace Combat 5 but I'm sincerely hoping Ace Combat 7 comes out soon especially when Ace Combat Infinity is going to end it would just be nice anyways thanks a bunch for the video and carry on
