What a wonderful performance of John's Master Work........so much so, that song inspired me to pull up stakes in Ohio and move to Idaho. That was 42 years ago....I now live on a 22 acre ranch homestead in the Rocky Mountains at 4,250 ft elevation....surrounded by Elk, Wild Turkey, Mule Deer, Moose, Red Tail Hawks, the mighty Golden Eagle.....his music gave my life goals focus.....I left a city so polluted that it's river caught on fire....and live in the most majestic, pure, clean air......all because of his music......Thank you for your musical abiltiy.
I normally don't like covers of any songs, but this one really works. Having listened to the original very recently, it was quite fresh in my mind. Other than a few notes carefully avoided in the vocal, this is a close match.
Beautiful! Best cover of my favorite Denver song I've seen. I'm a New Yorker born at the Air Force Academy hospital in Colorado Springs. I cant wait to go back to Colorado and retire in the most beautiful state in the union. God bless you 🙏
☑ ❗Good 👍 really difficult JD song to cover ; this song introduced me to songcraft in my teens and a love of JD music and style ; but could never learn to play RMH song proper as my style afterward morphed into fingerstyle only guitar 🙃😌😑

@@djdeweese I posted it if you want to check it out (I will take it down if you disprove). I posted a video of a table read of a Simpsons script I wrote 25 yrs ago...a running joke has to do with the song "Rocky Mountain High" and it ends with Bob Denver (yes, Gilligan) singing it into the end credits. I was exploring alternate versions to play on my video for the closing credits and decided yours was the best fit: it's clean, crisp, happy, and the video is unpretentious and family-oriented. Check out the last minute of my video and tell me what you think. I could post a link to your page in the comments.

Absolutely fantastic - best cover of this iconic song I have ever heard. You all should be extremely proud of yourselves. Keep singing.
I would like to hear more John Denver covers. If there anything like this one they would be amazing. Great cover.
Awesome Job!! JD played RMH capoed to the 2nd fret in drop D tuning! Still sounded great!👍
Great cover all the way around; great on pitch voice and guitar work was well done!
Loved it!
Great cover folks! I think John Denver applaud you from Heaven every time he hears this. God bless you and everyone
SWEET! Well done. Takes me back to 1977 at the Capital Centre, Landover, MD.
Loved it....flat out loved it.....thank you...
Thanks a lot for this beautiful cover. Very great guitars sound I adore 12 strings very brightly. Thanks again from France😉👍
What a virtuoso John Denver was. Nobody did it better. That synthesizer sounds like an entire orchestra. Amazing cover.
John would be blown away.....at the tribute and joy in which you sang and played his magnum opus.....

I'd watch at 45:50 (the video actually ends at 48 min). th-cam.com/video/CFAxjr8lWoc/w-d-xo.html
Denver is jealous
Dans voice reminds me of Michael Stipe.
great performance, but the Keyboardsound keeps it a bit "muddy" ....especially in the darker tones.
If they play this at an airport, I am not flying....
Excellent
