@@EdgeOfTheNorthyou want different size peices and even different levels of dry ..been burning in 7 states 50 years almost and mixing is the way to go..and another thing all these firewood guys now today and online.wirh fancy wood ..the logs with Knotts in them non fancy burn way way longer .just gotta stack them on top I the middle..I do 500 ricks and more every year plus am tree service..also people are obsessed with oak ,but hard maple puts out more heat..we burn ALL WOOD and mix it..have a brush and clean out my family's pipes every year and it makes no difference pipes are always the same amount of dirty..except my uncle who throws greese and anything in his...had crazy grandmother that used kerosene. 😂...but I bring home all wood from removals..except pine if I still lived up north I would burn that to but to many bugs get I the other wood stacked or piled when green pine is around it...outside otherwise up north we all burned it ..Wisconsin Illinois Minnesota..areas..I'm in smokey mountains now and wood market is flooded people selling ricks for 75 80 bucks to cheap..after cutting trees all day then hauling it home splitting huge 5ft rounds and stacking pileing.ckeaning up its to much work for that ..but there's millions of retired wealthy internet guys so .market flooded..but still do alot of wood..wpuld do it like always for heat ..everyone should..but the fancy fad that has developed is gone to far..for sure God bless

@@Sethhaun78I agree on alot of what you said. 👍👍 And I’m always jealous of other people’s markets and think about moving 😄 I’m in North-Central WI and similar market to yours. 70-100 a face cord. 200-300 full cord. But there are places twice as much! NJ, NY, Virginia, etc.

I'm thinking a dump insert would work well for face cord deliveries.....I'm just too cheap to spend the money.

      Same here 😂
I’ve thought about putting 2 or 3 moving blankets or heavy tarps under sections of the wood. Then just pulling them out one by one at delivery. 🤔 They’d be heavy
