Hi my rendering is taking days to render an animation. Is that normal? :(
There are number of reasons. Try to change the tile size or enable auto tile size addon for the first and make sure you're using a GPU and CPU both

This is so cool! Great tutorial! Your artistry is amazing! The only thing I'm having trouble with is the UV editing. I'm using a different texture for the landscape, and it doesn't come with a roughness tiff file. It just has Normal, Gloss, and Displacement. I'm guessing displacement is the same as roughness? Also, no texture shows up on the left side of the UV Editing tab. It's just a blank grid. How do I get the texture to show up in the UV Editing tab? I'm using Blender 2.9 btw.

I have a collection of share with instance but my instance doesn't appear on particles.
my particle die before enter the vortex. they just spin in fron of the vortex but they arent sucked in
i redo everything and now everything is working fine :D

Hi Aria, your wonderful videos! I migrated from Lightwave 3d to Blender once, a month ago. But I started to study it from version 2.80, making rendering products a simpler job. But in the last month I started making animations, relatively simple and it is very quiet, but I came across a problem, for me of course, maybe I don't know the tool to solve it. "I had to gently dissolve several objects throughout the scene and I couldn't find a practical way" I found two ways to do this, one animating in the Display Visibility tab, the "render", this would be excellent if it didn't disappear in a dry way. The other way was to create a material for each object that would smoothly disappear from the scene, but I also didn't find it practical. "Is there another way ??

Thank you for your tutorial! How can I decrease the speed of the particles? Max Air Speed doesn't do the trick. I used to do it via Integration but with Boids physics it seems to be more difficult.

Hi not sure if you'll see this but I'm stuck at 11:10 when it comes to separating the particle systems into separate collections. I can separate the emitters into separate collections between T1 and T2 but only T1 is having any effect on the particles. I copied them onto different particle settings like you demonstrated but that doesn't seem to have changed much.
Is there anything I could be missing? Love the tutorial, i just cant figure out what I'm doing wrong

For some reason my render view is not working with this particular file. When you turned up the red lamp to 2500 W at 21:05 you got a nice glow. I saw just a few pin pricks of red and that was it. However when I actually rendered the image, it looked just as expected. The same was true whether I was used Cycles or Eevee. Any ideas?
Ha! Solved it. I won't delete the above in case someone else makes my stupid mistake. I forgot to uncheck the view emitter box for the viewport as well as for rendering. Doh!

Hi Aria first of all great art work and second of all your tutorial is fluid, unfortunately somehow I keep losing fps half way through your tutorial, I don't know if it's a hardware issue, I have 32GB of ram. But the lag that is happening during the shading part prevents me from continuing it just lags so much that i cant really do anything literally. I really love this creature and would love to finish this. Can you help me?
