What amps are you simulating? Sounds very JCM 800'ish (80's rock) once distortion is added. Not hearing a lot of "chug" compared with other mfg's. amp sims. And that's not a knock on it, just an observation.

I really did enjoy the plugin!! If i could use the maple amp in my Amplitube rig, it would be my go to pedal platform!! 🤣 you guys killed it and I can feel your progress!! Keep it up!! Great video! I've been massively enjoying this plugin! I'm a huge fan of the McRocklin Suite as well, and I really like how this sounds and feels completely different; one isn't there to replace the other.

You can use Delay in HyperRig as fake Spring Reverb, try this settings as a base and tweak it to your taste. Of course it doesn't sound like a real Spring Reverb but it's pretty fun to play 🙂

Similar first chord and the little pentatonic bluesy ending 🤣 I play that all the time. It’s just a super common chord progression, the weezer one is like an interesting version of the simple progression with a couple dissonances. Close feel and vibe tho! I love that weezer song. I still don’t understand why you would buy this if you already own the McRocklin suite. Same tones with a different presentation? I’m struggling to comprehend how this adds anything.

I think, a very big leap from where the mcrocklin left off. They just need better effects. I really enjoyed their clean amp a lot. If this amp was on amplitube 🤣 I’d be my go to in my setup, sounds like a killer pedal platform. Anyway, thanks for your comment!

I’m pretty sure you can get close. In the end, for a third party, it’s all guitar and they all sound the same, right? But, for someone with years of experience with all kinds of audio processors and tweakers, I don’t think you can get the same tones. To me, the mcrocklin suite was way too green. It held promise, but that was it. It felt a bit wild. This one, sounds much more refined to me. Still a little way to go to get to the level of my favorite amp sim sounds. But, way closer. So far, the only plugin I checked here in the channel that seems like it can catch up to the big 2. I hope that, at this rate, they get to that level in the next drop. I like to have someone disrupt the industry, that pushes the other companies with more budget to invest in product development or get cheaper. So either way, this plugin is a step in the right direction for the computer guitar community!
