Tamsulosin (Flomax) vs Finasteride (Proscar) | Which is better?

I have been given both medicines in the USA but in India i was given only Silodosin 8 mg.what is the difference among the three medicines.

Flomax caused my hair to fall out. Also it affected my facial hairs in which I had an abundance of ingrown hairs. It looked like I had a severe case of acne.

I used fenasteride no side effect at all from grade 2 after 3 months used back to normal and also pŕay to god .

Dear Dr what other medicine can be given to the younger patient in the case
of incomplete bladder, dribbling and or not feeling relived?
if the Tamsolusin and Silodosin causes them erectile dysfunction and dry ejaculatory problems?

I can't say for any other; but I can say without doubt; that Finasteride took care awesome. Oh yes. Before my Dr put me on "Finasteride", I could hardly urinate every morning; and it hurt too.
But the "Finasteride and another medicine Alfuzosin" (one in the morning and the other one in the evening); made me like I was very young; and I have been using it over 10 yrs; with NO problems. For I am 91 yrs old. Thanks Jesus' Holy Name and my life is a joy!

I’m on finasteride as well as tamsulosin. Finasteride doesn’t seem to be causing me any problems, and a bonus that comes with finasteride is that it is reducing my male pattern baldness. Some people are prescribed finasteride solely for the purpose of growing hair.

Tamsulosin makes me dizzy. I really don’t like it and I’m going to ask my
Urologist to put me on something else that would accomplish the same result of preventing difficulty with urination with another drug.

The first time I take a tamsulosin tablet that night!..in the morning I was fainting and knocked out.. and block out my eyes everything is dark. Because I am an anemic with low blood pressure and low hemoglobin... immediately rush me to the hospital.. and they found out my low blood pressure 60/40..so then my doctor told me to stop taking tamsulosin and prescribed me finasteride...
