Priest Pai Mei AKA White Lotus The greatest martial arts cinema villain EVER. Rest In Peace Lo Lieh, thanks for making this villain such an iconic character.
As 70s kids, we always loved when one of these movies would come on, on like a Saturday Summer afternoon. Then we'd be on a Martial arts kick for a month. Then the 80s came, and every flea market in America sold throwing stars. God i miss those golden 70s Summer afternoons.
Yes, this is one the best of all time! It ranks up there with the original one-armed boxer movie. The level of kung fu skill with the monk is amazing. He is one of the few who could defeat Pai Mei!
This movie is among the ever best for CERTAIN!!!! Any kungfu lover will never get tired of it ..(I think) Top kungfu also!!!..... Thanks for uploading it 😷😷😎😊👍👍👍!....
Wu Tang, You've Done It Again!!! Superb, Marvelous, And Outstanding Kung Fu Classic Movie!!! I Enjoy The Fight Scenes, But I Truly Enjoy The "Discipline Scenes. Really "Fantastic!!!"
A very great classic. I never heard of this Shaw brothers movie. But then, Shaw studio has made well over 3,000 classical martial arts movies. I like the director Chang Che, he is an outstanding director in making classical martial arts genre movies.
This movie’s quite distinct from most martial arts movies in a few different ways, which is why I absolutely love it. It isn’t the same old cliché stereotypes. 👍 👍
This absolutely one of the best I have seen and I have seen a lot I grew up on these.great characters acting cinematographer storyline voiceover is everything is great
Aaron, I too thought I had seen all of the Shaw Brothers classic flicks, but this one got pass me. Since then this is my fourth or fifth time watching it.
The kid's in my neighborhood would watch these on the Kung=Fu show every Sunday. Everyone would come out after the show and fight each other, those we're the best times.
Pai Mei did not come back from the dead from one movie to another, he just had a virtual alternate reality in each movie. From Pai Mei's performance in this movie, I can tell that he was slightly more lethal in Executioners and in White Lotus, because in those movies he had a defensive element. He was more elusive when floating backwards. Yet, I think David Chiang himself was a more deadly foe to Pai Mei than Gordon Liu ever was at his highest skill level, even in the 36th Chamber movie
Pai Mei was not the Chief of the White Lotus Clan who could fly backwards. Pai Mei, in that movie, is the white haired man who is killed at the very beginning of the movie. When the White Lotus Chief comes to the house of the heros, the heros ask him why White Lotus Clan is attacking them. White Lotus Chief tells them it is because they killed Pai Mei, who was his classmate.
i just love the sound effects, and when the bad guys think their heads are harder than a Shaolin's, and when they jump from one spot to another spot 1/2 mile away lol
I remember back in the middle 80's when Martial Art Movies would come on Television on Saturday Afternoons on Fox 5 Television Station at 3:00p.m. . Some times it would be a double header starting at 1:00p.m., with 2 Kung Fu Movies that came on, ending at 5:00p.m. . I believe 1 time a triple headet had came on starting at 11:00a.m. to 1:00p.m., 1:00p.m. to 3:00p.m. and 3:00p.m. to 5:00p.m., those were the Great Times When I was in Highschool. 👍👍👏😃😎
20:00 So, the Shaolin Munks who abstained from women and practiced Kung Fu for their entire lives got spanked by amateurs in less than 5 minutes? How come in all these Kung Fu movies there's only one good student while all the others at the same school look like they've just started practicing Kung Fu a week ago? 😮
I Charles Herman, trust God only, but I am truly grateful to God he bless me to live to see good Kung fu movie, the shaw brother is number one 1⃣, I love all Kung fu movie,
Nice films I only could watch a few of this classics in my country and I practiced Tae kkwon do but in 2006 I came to USA and I got the chance to watch all wu tang collection and show brothers
As a kid & after watching kung fu movies ( 5 Fingers of Dead) / we tried to blow out some candles but always failed / I wish I could saw that movie before…….jajajaja to master the technique with Shaolin Sensei David.
Not exactly. The two movies use some of the same characters but aren't directly related, since in this one, Chi-san kills Pai Mei, whereas in Executioners of Shaolin, it's the son of Hung Hsi-Kwan who kills him.

Pei Mae always has the Bronze body in his arsenal!👍👍👌👌
Pai Mei is dope. Too bad he's an evil traitor. But all the lore surrounding his mythical Gung Fu is awesome tho.
David Chiang also had iron skin and a head harder even than the Lama monk, who had a hard head himself!
Excellent movie!!! The best!!!
This is one of veryyy few Kungfu movies in which the villain hardly touch the main protagonist.
Good point
Great movie thank you for sharing
I have never seen this movie before, its a classic of classic. The Monk is solid and he looks like david Cheng.
He is David Chang.

I'm trying to figure out what did Lo Leih said he studied what style that seals the nerves points in the body...does anyone know?
Pugilism. It's the same term used in Marco Polo (AKA The Four Assassins) to describe an ironskin technique.
Thank you for the info.
Thanks so much!!! It's also used for boxing
