Super cool vid! So helpful thanks :) I’m in Korean format where we just reached OP2, and this is my first deck that I literally got today. Thanks for in depth guide. I hope I can win few games using him
@@WillofDDT Quick question, would the decklist in the video, be the final decklist for law in OP2 format? Or is there any changes you may of made throughout the meta?
Thank you so much, that means a lot! I actually just took this list to Peoria regionals yesterday! I loved how it performed. There were a total of 9 rounds, and my record was 7 wins, 2 losses. (One of the losses could've easily been avoided too smh, I just made a fatal misplay). So yeah, I was happy to see that, even in a really competitive environment, the list really holds up!
Yup! The matches aren't going to be a cakewalk, but this list gives you all the resources you need to adapt to several different situations and take down every other deck in the meta
Not really tbh! Wish I could tell you otherwise. So yeah, still 2nd place at 3 locals, and 39th place (7 wins - 2 losses) at Regionals. Haven't had the opportunity to attend locals in the past couple months unfortunately. I play a lot with friends and on the sim, and the deck is still winning a majority of the time. The one matchup I have trouble with is Doflamingo if they get their promo Jinbe early. Otherwise, I'm winning most of the time with this deck!
Fair, all comes down to your personal experience. I feel that this list runs enough red 1 costs that it justifies her presence. But do what works for you!
Instead of basil, I am running 2 copies of Film Zoro. Also another unit to consider is ST Zoro. 7K for 1 DON investment. And it becomes a 6K on defense. Pretty good.
Really appreciate the view and the comment! And respectfully, I have to hard disagree with you on both the Zoro's. I see a lot of people running the Film one. If you're anti-Basil, that's fine, but he should be replaced instead with more Restand Laws, or more X-Drakes, who actually generate some value in addition to being a 6k My thesis on the matter is below, lol: 1. 4-cost is still too expensive to play manually. You still ideally want to Shambles into Zoro. If he were 3, "he's lower cost" would be a strong argument, but at 4, it feels terrible spending that much Don in a Law deck for one unit. So effectively, you're using Shambles, whether it's Zoro, or whether it's Basil/Law/X-Drake. So Zoro's not truly any cheaper. And his lower cost is therefore a detriment, because it makes him removable by X-Drake/King in green/purple matchups. 2. He's a 1k counter, sure, but so are Restand Law and X-Drake, who provide more value with their on-plays. 3. He's 6k, but so are Law/Law/X-Drake/Basil. The ONE argument for Zoro is that he's searchable off Nami. But the increase in consistency is so marginal that it's not worth imo. You're running 2 Zoro's max (any more would be using up slots that should be going to Restand Law or X-Drake). So the one scenario where Zoro's "StrawHat Crew" benefits you is this: A) You have no Bonney in hand. B) You don't have any of your better Top-End Supernovas in hand. C) You have Nami in hand. D) one of your two Zoro's is in the top 5 cards of your deck. How often are those four stars going to align? The niche case in which Zoro's searchability off of Nami actually benefits you is so exceedingly specific, that it's really not worth it. Basil has no counter, but absolutely wrecks the opponent if he doesn't get removed. But again, you don't even have to be aboard the Basil train. I would sooner run 4 Restand Laws or 4 X-Drakes (or 3 of each) before I'd include a Vanilla in my top end. Just my thoughts personally!
I just can't understand the argument for Zoro ST over Rush Zoro man lol, but to each their own. Rush Zoro has the same stats, same counter value, same cost, but has RUSH. Meaning you can very easily attack twice in a turn using blocker Law + Rush Zoro combo. I don't really get what value ST Zoro is providing that outdoes that. But again, if it's working for you, maybe I just haven't seen how good it can be! Rock it if it working well for you. But the Rush Zoros have been working perfectly for me personally
I'll say this: the list is designed for OP02. A lot of people on the sim are currently running OP03 cards, and I definitely struggle in those matches. Just the nature of any card game; no list will perform perfectly in every possible meta. In OP02 matches, the list does extremely well, the only tough situation being where you don't see your Bonney/Top End cards.

So glad to hear this video is helpful for you!
I'm excited to hear about the One Piece game community growing in Korea! Best of luck on your games!

Really solid list! Of all lists, this is the one I really like the most! Great explanation as well!

Seen this exact list in action. It is lethal!

what mat is that?? OG broly goes hard!
Haha thanks! I drew the artwork and got the mat printed using a website that makes custom mats and gear!
Any further update on how recent tournaments have gone?

@@WillofDDT I run both, st zoro is good for me to deal for example against wb he hits 7k and in their turn still has 6k
Not a good list. Been trying it on the sim... haven't won a match in nearly 20 games.
