What does a Dietary Aide do? | Summer DITL

- This summer I worked as a Dietary Aide. This position varies depending on where you work but hopefully this gives you an on-site into what it is like. I spend most of my time with residents but I obviously didn’t film any of that.

I start soon and I’m so anxious, I’ve only worked customer service jobs 😩
How is it going
@@Bubbaxmonster easiest job I’ve ever had. Flexible hours. A nice team. Perfect while I’m back in school, I also really enjoy accommodating to patients to what the need as much as possible (anything to make their ease of stay better)

@@sillygo0oser that’s really good went for drug test today I’m 21 been in retail and restaurants and I’m looking for a career and I don’t remember applying for this job and can’t find it anywhere all I can think is it was god I’m going to ask how they got my application once I get started working and I hope I can make it a career since I am visually impaired but haven’t told them yet but I do plan on telling and submitting documentation when I start my sight is 20/200 so just small print is hard for me

What questions were you asked at your dietary aid interview
Great question! Because Interviewed at a retirement home they asked about how I would interact with older people with conditions such as dementia. I also lucked out in that they were urgently hiring so they mostly just wanted to know when I could start.
@@clarapetersen9026this just happened to me she didn’t even ask any of that she just told me the list of duties and that she will see me next week

20$ dollar an hour get that nice money 🙂 it's a very good job but man some people in dietary kitchens are or can be rude.
