I don't know why but something about seeing the entire process unfold and not be absolutely picture-perfect (including both trials _and_ tribulations) just makes for a more real feeling and interesting video.
The struggle is real: that project where you need *three* hands to hold tools, but you also need them to be about child-size, so as to be able to deal with the small parts more easily. Excellent repair, as usual.
Very interesting video. I think people appreciate a video like this because it shows a real repair. And how persistence can pay off I think Warduke is one of the best looking figures of the line. Always good to see one saved.
It's always great to see you repairing classic action figures, and the LJN AD&D figures are always fun--especially Warduke, who has been a favorite of mine since the early '80s! Repairing toys, I've had finger gouges and nicks occur (just like you had in your video) many times while I was doing fiddling things like splitting plastic, so I know how that feels. lol. I appreciate that you kept that bit in the video. There's always a few minor risks involved when one is trying to repair an old toy, and no matter how careful one is, accidents can happen. The real world honesty is much more helpful to viewers, I think as it's always good to know what one might be delving into when doing repairs. I know one of the things you strive to do is to show people at home that they can repair their old toys themselves using things that they can easily acquire from their homes or from a store, and it's just outstanding of you to allow your viewers to know that toy repair isn't always easy--even for experts like yourself sometimes have a few minor mishaps. I'm just glad that your cut was very, very minor, my friend! Loved the video! Now Warduke has a leg to stand on for the next battle ahead!
Thing is Mr Toy Polloi, you make it look matter of fact. Like on the old Generation Game show where they had an expert potter doing a demo, who the families then try and copy and throw clay all over the place! Even with this video and the dreaded screwdriver gouge, most of us would have hurled ol' Warduke at the wall then initiated sulk-mode! Such patience, you have!
Yes! Warduke strikes again!! Sorry he roughed you up so much, Dave. To be fair though, a figure that awesome is just plain dangerous…🤷♂️😳 Thank you for another fantastic repair, good sir!🙏🍻
🩸😵 I was trying to customize a modern Duke, they had glued him because of an action feature 🙄 (hate action features on G.I. JOES) and I was cutting it with an Xacto knife and pretty sure I did permanent nerve damage to my middle finger. Lol Didn't want and couldn't afford stitches. 🤷 YAY TOYS. lol
Hey toy polloi, I recently bought a vintage trap jaw and to my surprise the jaw snaps shut all by itself!! Even mine as a kid didn’t do that. Have you ever seen this before??
Question how many different Action Figures are in this Line ??? 🤔 Thank you for show all the process to fixing Toys !!! Do you have a display of them ??? CRACK ON MATE !!! 😊😊😊
who do people still use the Wilhelm scream? in all seriousness, you should use a a leather glove next time. happy you are not more seriously injured. thank you for suffering while entertaining us LOL happy new year by the way
The Wilhelm Scream, a classic.

Great use of the Wilhelm Scream!! Glad it’s not just me that occasionally cuts myself when doing DIY jobs. Warduke’s legs back on so all ends well.
It's all part of the process. No pain no gain.

Glad you enjoyed it!

Nice repair and working through the setbacks! Warduke is back! A great figure and the updated figures of Warduke are cool too.
Saving toys from landfill can’t be bad
Wilhelm scream for the win!
Loved this figure as a kid, your an Iron-Man Dave 😉 hope Your thumb is OK.

I appreciate your various techniques. This one probably falls under "stubborn brute force." :-D Great job as always!
Dave, you do realise that everyone who has liked this video, has raised a ( sore and bloody ) thumb, to support your Channel! 🤣
Reminds me of that knight from The Holy Grail that seems persistent on fighting, regardless of losing all of his limbs 😂
I'm impressed you got through all that with only one beep. I would have been six beeps deep after poking my finger haha.
Awesome 👍😎
Thanks ✌️

Hey Dave
Was nice to see the "struggles" as well. Really like the new editing between scenes.
Take care😊
Thanks 👍

Toy repair: There will be blood. 😆😆😆
Are you going to be putting out an annual soon?
There are no plans for another annual. Cheers
a blood sacrifice has been accepted by the toy gods
I cut my hands all the time making things and repairing thing. it's part of it.
You nearly died, Dave - never let it be said you don’t bleed for your art.
Warduke: blood for the blood god.
Playing the drinking game on this video (every time "t-bar" is said) would put someone in hospital. ;P
who do people still use the Wilhelm scream?
in all seriousness, you should use a a leather glove next time. happy you are not more seriously injured.
thank you for suffering while entertaining us LOL
happy new year by the way
Muhahaha, we love blood sweat and plastic 😁
Good gone sells glue remover
He stabbed his thumb,
but carried on,
with blades towards fingers,
we feared they'd succumb.
