Great work, on a horseshoe magnet don’t forget to put a keeper (a piece of steel ) across the magnet this will help keep it’s magnetism. If you didn’t have a compass you could create a loop in a piece of string thread it through the magnet and hover it above the magnet charger, energise the charger and the poles of the magnet will align in the correct orientation to the charger, just another way of doing it 👍
Hi Adam just had an interesting thought. For a finishing touch Why not put an old car amp meter in series with the positive "50-0-50 " to see how much current your pulling. I am shure you could fabricate a nice bracket. I think it would set the Mk1 M.C.M Off a treat regards shaun and Danny Boy ps he must have watched your birthday shout about a Thousand times Arrrr ❤
Great Scott the magnetron works 😂 be carfull keep the battery at a safe distance as its a direct cross could blow the battery up can't beat staying safe mate but we'll done super interesting vid
If positives repel and opposites attract. Your magnetiser with the red tape is actually south. But yes your old magnet to be recharged has its north to the red tape. Good work
Hi I built one last year it seems ok for that type of magnet you tried it on can u try it on a rotating magnet like in the Lucas rs1 and the wico A cos when I did I didn’t seem to have much luck . Keep up the good work old mate
A standard compass points NORTH. However, the magnetic polarity of the North Pole is SOUTH, so your compass has the pointer NORTHERLY polarised (opposite poles attract, like poles repel).😉
Good Evening Adam, Mrs man cave ok hope so, Well me old mate you have done it again you should be proud of yourself you have bone a great job , You just keep on as y are doing just great you take care of yourself and keep yourself safe and healthy and stay safe.🛠️🛠️🛠️⭐️👍👌🧲🧲

Thumbs 👍 good work
Man cave MaG Na TrOn! Nice one Adam.
Iff the north needle point is attracted to it it is a SOUTH pole, if it was a Nth pole it would be repelled.
Yeah worked that out yesterday. All sorted now. 😀

Hi Adam
How much with postage
Thanks Will
Remember that your North pointer is attracted to the South pole and South to the North pole.
Very good but keep your watch out of the area.
Merci man cave

Have you thought of making a time machine 🤔
what is up with the jumping camera?
Ow it's some stupid follow me mode on my camera. I think i turned it off now. 🙂
@@NorfolkMancave it can happen :P
❤️🙏Fishburn Co Durham, MORE T VICOR 🤣🤣🤣,
Credit is rolled. Join me & watch. Thanks Adam
You're putting more than 20 amps through the switch
yes Thats true a starter push solinoid would be better
As long as the coils measure at least 0.6 horseshoes on the horseshoe scale then it should be OK.
Nice job Adam
