I sit with my identity before the open. I am an intraday trader and I wait patiently for the setups according to my methodology and then take the trades with faith and without hesitation. Any pain I experience from trading is a learning experience and increases my faith.

I choose ...sit with my trading identity before open. I am 51 and do very well in chaos, Fed announcements, etc. Reminding me of self would go a long way. I am an extremely fast thinker (even at my age) but leads me to fail on longer term horizons due to lack of support group (being around other traders). So I need self-talk to calm me when I need stability in the calmer markets.

I already do both but am working on my ability to leave things behind this seems to be my biggest river to cross so far. Not so much a loser trade but all of the things from my life that hold me back like the fear of success and what comes with that. I've always believed if you want something bad enough no matter what it is you will find a way to get it. I have created success in all of the other goals that i strived for(sounds a little arrogant but it is true) the numbers don't bother me I have dealt with big money in a lot of different things, it's only man made and I truly believe that anyone can accomplish their goals I've done it I've seen it done by others so it's real. I guess I don't want to leave anyone behind that happen before and people were hurt I don't want that again. It's a tightrope walk between average and successful and people that dont have the drive fall off.

Great video, I trade my own account and profitable every month but not every week. I can put trades together well and make good money on opening range breakout plays( like today in SMH etf, Spy and CVS as it got over 63.50 level. However I do mess myself up by taking other setups such as 15 min pullback trades which am not great at and other overtrading issues. As I trade by myself I thinking that maybe making a twitter account and documenting everyone of my trades would make me more accountable. I do my usual journaling but only for myself so maybe putting it on social media may help. Is that a good idea?

Lenard Melvin you sound jealous? Enjoy your 4% a month. My strategy turned into a system, it took me one year of studying the market, and then another 5-6 months of losing before i became profitable. At the 6 month mark the system was complete and now for the past year i’ve averaged 80-120% a month using only two patterns and one system.. penny stocks are not scalable.. the max i can put in one trade is on average $400k usd, sometimes more sometimes less.. but making 30% on that within an hour.. consistently over the month, is more money than i need or care to spend
