Today I’ll show you how to make a Fancí Club inspired fabric flower ruffle! I sampled with many different methods on how to make a fabric flower and created 4 -5 different samples updating my sewing pattern each time to create the perfect pattern to share so you don't have to spend 3 days getting the perfect ratios! Fabric: Power Mesh 65cm or 0.7 of a yard (The exact dimensions for fabric overlayed on the spiral is 65cm x 65cm)

Hey Lucy! If you skip towards the end of the tutorial I give an overview of how I modified one of my sewing patterns to make the top. If you already own a baby tee style top you'll be able to modify your own to create the same! xx

Yes you can! Instead of a power mesh I would use a lycra/spandex. I have seen Fanci Club use shimmer spandex fabrics not dissimilar to swimwear fabric. The only thing is that these fabrics have a lot of elastane and so I would recommend finishing the edges of the flower on an overlocker/serger with just one needle (the right one for a narrower finish) and this would emulate a baby lock finish!
