    This is a great travel camera. It's very lightweight. I bought one for about $30 in Japan and shoot with a 50 mm STM, which focuses quickly. The only real issue I've had with the camera is that the batteries don't lose their power equally. One drains faster than the other. The consequence of this is that sometimes the batteries lack power to load film. I have to take the batteries out (there are 2) and switch them around. After that, I reload the film. (I have to rewind it because it only unspools halfway.)Then, the batteries have the power to load the film. For the money, it's an excellent purchase.

    I just bought one on Amazon for $50.85 with the lens. In fact I bought mine for the lens. Not the body. The 29-90mm Kit lens works great on my 5D mark III and well on my 80D. A very unique lens to use in this modern day. But now I'm sitting here with my Ti to learn more about how the body works from you. So I can shoot a good test roll and see if the body has any light leakage or not. I also have a Canon Rebel G from the mid 90's that works fine. But noticed how much the Ti looks like a modern Digital Rebel like my T3i I bought in 2012. I know that the Ti was released 10 years earlier in 2002. I still love shooting film. When I can afford it.

    Wow, I have the same exact body and lens right now lol. I bought mine back in the early 2000's when it was first released. It was so popular back then it was completely sold out in the US, I had mine shipped from Germany.

    I just bought one of these in like-new condition for $7 at the Salvation Army down the street. Has a 35-80mm lens on it, too. Now to find some batteries...

      I found one craigslist for free with a 35-80 and 80-200mm lens. Just need to buy a battery. Score of the week

      Doesn't it use 2 CR2 batteries? You can get those at your basic store like Target or Walmart for about $15 for a pack of 2. You can also get them at Amazon for cheaper, but I'm not sure on the quality.

      Go to a battery shop and show them camera and the batteries that you tried to use it with. Most of them know what batteries work and likely let you try the batteries first.

      Target, Walmart has CR2 batteries where I live. They're about $10-$16 depending on where you get them. Amazon also has them ;)

      Walgreens has them. It’s a CR2 battery.

    The worst thing about this camera is the flash. It's so easy to flip it up when just pulling the camera out of the bag or something. I never use flash so am thinking of just ripping off the damn thing!

    The film body sure is cheap, so as the 50mm, but you have to consider the price and buying films vs sd cards. Films are more expensive than we think. Although it's always great to shoot film once in a while!

    How to activate the flash?

    • @zzzzZZZZzzzzszaZZZ
      @zzzzZZZZzzzzszaZZZ 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      There is a flash button you can push. You can only use it on manual, program, aperture priority and shutter priority as well as the A-dep mode I think..

      @sevastianlitvishko4045 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +JordanPhotoAudio hey man! Thanks for answering. It seemed i used the wrong batteries. But now i faced another question, how do you roll the film back up. Is it the tiny button under the screen, with circle drawn and two arrows pointing backwards. Hope you understand my question Thank you!

    • @maddshk
      @maddshk 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@sevastianlitvishko4045 I hope you've gotten a response after 3 years but after you take the last picture on the roll, it should automatically roll back up

    • @johnsciara9418
      @johnsciara9418 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@sevastianlitvishko4045 The camera when you load the film, takes up all of the film onto the take up real and when you take pictures, the film rewinds back into the canaster so you don't have to rewind the film when you're done

    • @CanoeToNewOrleans
      @CanoeToNewOrleans 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@sevastianlitvishko4045 That small button with the little arrows is to rewind the film. However, you shouldn't need to touch it. The camera should automatically rewind itself once you get to the end of the roll. But let's say you want to change rolls before you get to the end, then you could push the little button.
