Agree...as the role of small forward, in terms of pure ball control, speed, and goal sense, he was the best I've seen. He became a very very good attacking defender later on as well.
Have you got all 4 from game against Carlton at MCG where he kicked a goal against the boundary line in each of the 4 pockets in the ground. I have a question on that one when Leon had the Braids so maybe his first or second year at Collingwood when he completely bamboozled #14 for Bulldogs was that luke darcy ? i think it was luke darcy he hoodwinked as the commentators called goal of the year (which he finally won many years later) against Freo.
Loved watching Leon play was a absolute gun with great skills forward or back.
