Btw cell was freaking out when Goku was threatening to blow up the earth bec he didn't know if his genes could regenerate down to that level before bec he has never been pushed to to that point till he blew his self up on king Kai planet then he regenerated his full body over and got a zenkai booste from it from having Saiyan Gene's
remember he didnt know he could regenerate the first time him fighting fused picollo he got really surprised when picollo regenerated hes arm , so yeah he didnt know the upper limits of hes hacked regeneration
10:08 it’s also the cheat code of Saiyan dna with Namekian dna. I’m pretty sure after cell got his top dropped, and regenerated, he probably got a crazy zenkai boost and that was probably enough to elevate him above Goku’s level, on top of the Kamehameha using a ton of Goku’s energy
Man you ain't wrong around 14:40 those first few arcs of Super did leave a bad impression. They got sure made up for it later but those retellings of Battle of Gods and Resurrection F were very lackluster in the animation department
Super looked bad because the art style was different on top of that it was heavily underfunded and the animators were barely given any time to work. Given enough time and money they produced the broly movie

See if Vegeta went SS2 then it would of took off the attention from Gohan and at that point Toriyama wanted Gohan to be the main character but never happened due to ppl complaining 🤦🏾♂️.
vegeta couldnt transform in to ssj2 because he hadn mastered ssj1 and even if he did go ssj2 he wouldnt be powerful enough to stop cell beacuse hes power level was way lower then gokus and gohan here , but still it would had been a very cool moment for him

Okay 14:40 bro stop please because I’m just sick of hearing this L ass take. I like Z better than supper don’t get me wrong guys. But super has better animation and art than Z. More consistent art maybe not but in terms of good art work and animation supper has the best in the series there not one fight in Z that can match the spectacle of UI omen Goku vs Jirean and mastered UI vs jjrean. Hell even Goku vs kefla and Califla had better art and animation then the a lot of fights in Z. It literally can’t be argued the used the old art styles in those fights and is just paired which much newer animation techniques. Only thing Z definitely has over super is fight choreography.
@@brianlaureus You need some glasses buddy 😂 It's widely known that Dragon Ball Super was rushed, especially the first two arcs, which had poor animation. That's why many prefer watching the 'Battle of Gods' and 'Revival of F' movies, as their animation is superior. While Dragon Ball Z had its flaws, it was far more consistent than Super in my opinion. Although Super's animation improved towards the end, selectively picking scenes to assess the entire series' animation isn't a fair approach.

I don’t think Cell knew he’d regenerate completely if the planet blew up, until he actually did it on King Kai’s

It wasn’t way lower, because he held his own against a cell jr, plus his final flash made super perfect cells legs buckle, that says a lot.
