That's doing it right! Good show guys. Made me want to get to the track, too. Nice seeing people doing things the right way. Very nice! Great bikes too.
hey dudes thanks for the tips it helped alot i just got a truck and me my dad and brother all went riding in my truck and i watched this and tried it and it works so good so thanks alot. nice bikes and good video
Personally we just load the middle bike in backwards and it fits in just like a puzzle piece. Is a bit awkward rolling it up into the truck backwards.. but its not that bad with two people.
Great video. PLo and Dano are top notch guys in this industry. Believe it or not there are novice guys out there looking for How To videos like this and use them. Good job guys, see you soon!
I ride with a guy who bought a 1994 ambulance with 54000 miles from an airport. It has lights in it, tons of room, holds like 4-5 bikes. Best rig ever.
Some really good suggestions here. Curious what you weigh all loaded up? I want to haul 3 bikes in the bed. I do the math and 3 bikes, riders and gear maxes a 1/2 ton payload. Around 7000lbs GVWR with roughly 3900lbs on front axle and same on the rear axle. The one silver lining to 3 bikes with 3 riders is the payload is distributed evenly across the frame. About 1000 in the bed and around 700 in the passenger area. I suspect you are close to max GVWR but under the limit at the axles.
i put a couple extra tie down hooks on my snowmobile trailer i can fit 3 bikes with tons of room to spare, then just throw the gear, gas, pop up tent, cooler, tools, ect.. into the bed with my tonneau cover to keep it all dry =)
I'm always the guy telling everybody to bring a stand because it's inevitable that at some point I'll come back for a break and find somebody's bike on my stand, or leaning against my truck. Either one will make me a little salty when they could have just brought their stand.
my short bed wont let you step a bike out with a tool box, turn the bars on the outside so the wheel is in the corners of the bed, the third bike goes straight up the middle and the gear and tool go where ever they can fit lol.
you also have the back seat of the truck depending if you have spectators/mechanics rolling with you. if it just the three bros you can put a gear bag in the bag middle seat and then have room for another gas can.
Yeah but I don't think your going to want gas in your truck.. I like to put bags in the cab just so if it rains they don't get wet... Also a lot of people said this but put smaller bikes in the middle! Like if its a father and son or something along those lines.
If someone wanted to steal your bike out of your truck. They would just cut the straps if you had those strap locks. They're not really gonna do to much
I put my 3rd bike in backwards then there is no need to offset the 3rd bike I find it way easier and convenient especially on the unload just ride it right out
i have a 125 an 85 and a 65 and we made a a stand out of wood that you can roll the bikes into, throw one strap over them all and they dont move at all its alot quicker and effective than that
crlad42 Don't leave the safety of your investment up to a single strap. I always use 2 per bike or sometimes more if I'm driving further. You can never be too safe.
so funny watch'n moto x guys load their shit, it's all so light, everything! 15 years now sport bike'n & canyon & track days nothing like it, even got an 'Air Tow' trailer now but still only 2 bikes 3 is just to difficult but for us sport bike guys, but a really important tip>> (stagger the chock 1 a little more forward then the other so the handle bars are not even across form each other, this also helps with moto x bikes . I'm buying the gate today for the back of my AT trailer. & since there is always something here's mine>> I would like the gate thicker 'wider' or higher if that's more clear, u must b careful that things don't slide underneath or blow out the top so 4 me (more gate) would be nice
Wade Oliver You can do that, but isn't as easy as pushing it right in. I'll shove my kids little 80 in backwards when we load all 3 bikes, 2 x 250's on the outside. This was a good video, makes me want to think a little harder about loading my truck next time.
They are not that common and overpriced here, you can get a 2500/3500 truck for much cheaper and tow much more if you want to bring a camper for a longer trip. But whatever works for you man
Not really recommended but if random situation comes up and it comes down to leaving a bike behind l it looks like there's enough space there to throw a fourth bike in the bed 🤔
Thinking same. How much room do you need for helmet chest rig knee pads and stylish pants n shirt. All my shit fits in a regular duffel ad 2 shirts n boots for mud moto
LOL 2 SMOKER?! DUDE THATS FUNNY THAT GUT WITH THE RM 250 WAS LIKE THE 2 SMOKER IS SO THE LIGHTEST BIKE SO IT GOES IN THE MIDDLE. dude i was rolf irl and it was so funny 2 smoker?! LOL
Why? Then you gotta have room to store the trailer when not in use, and you have registration fees and all that other shit. Trailers are ideal for people who do not have trucks.
Marlatt Reptiles What are you talking about? My 2002 EXC 400 is still in pristine condition. Ive only cleaned out the carb, changed oils and changed the fork seals

this man is a wizard I've been trying to get three bikes in a truck for weeks getting ready for a big dune trip soon
another tip is to use pool noodles cut down over your pegs. prevents the damage. works great.
I just back the middle bike in. Works good for me.
I ride with a guy who bought a 1994 ambulance with 54000 miles from an airport. It has lights in it, tons of room, holds like 4-5 bikes. Best rig ever.
haha "dirt biking is fun" couldn't agree more!
I have work pads for the when I work under a car between the bikes, made out of a thick foam so it doesnt cause any scratches or damage.
you guys are loading gurus and I love the video it had multiple tips so thanks for that and always ride hard
I usually put my tie downs around the bottom triple clamp instead of the handlebars
Just got a truck today...such good ideas!
Loading 3 bikes is just something you did. I never really thought about it before.
in italy the pickup is not so wide, but i put 3 bikes on a mitsubishi l200 in this one i can surely put 4 bikes! :-)greatings from italy!
skills

Great vid. Thanks guys
In a long bed u can load a bike backwards in the middle shut the tailgate and tie her up
I'm always the guy telling everybody to bring a stand because it's inevitable that at some point I'll come back for a break and find somebody's bike on my stand, or leaning against my truck. Either one will make me a little salty when they could have just brought their stand.
If your pegs move up you could tie them or zip tie them up
my short bed wont let you step a bike out with a tool box, turn the bars on the outside so the wheel is in the corners of the bed, the third bike goes straight up the middle and the gear and tool go where ever they can fit lol.
really enjoyed the video thanks

nice bikes all of them have something aftermarket on them.
awesome dirt bikes!
Lock straps are
Thick metal wire inside
I like to keep my bikes looking nice so it makes me crazy when I see some of my buddies laying their bikes on each other
If someone wanted to steal your bike out of your truck. They would just cut the straps if you had those strap locks. They're not really gonna do to much
Exactly what i was thinking i heard a lot of bikes get stolen off the back of trucks at that moto shop in Cali
noah jester Pretty sure they would only been using them during the day and close by, at least that's all I would use them for.
noah jester most locks are theft deterrents not exactly a theft protection. They're only good for the grab and go type of thief.
Is why I run a chain from one side of ram bed to the other through the wheels
With innertube around the chain
Guys, buy a van and save all the hassle and time for riding!!
Good video. Thanks.
I put 2 in the bed, turn the backs sideways, shut the tailgate and put the 3rd on a carrier on the hitch.
Good tips. But luckily I have a trailer that I cram everything in.
I put my 3rd bike in backwards then there is no need to offset the 3rd bike I find it way easier and convenient especially on the unload just ride it right out
We load right and left bike look front and the middle look back!!sorry for my english
What are the orange lens shades that dude is wearing?
we have to do 4 bikes occasionally, thats a bit of a pain in the ass.
I love your video
I'm going to try for 4 big bikes in Mr ranger this weekend with a will there is away
I preferred my box trailer method
i have a 125 an 85 and a 65 and we made a a stand out of wood that you can roll the bikes into, throw one strap over them all and they dont move at all its alot quicker and effective than that
crlad42 Don't leave the safety of your investment up to a single strap. I always use 2 per bike or sometimes more if I'm driving further. You can never be too safe.
We get 3 bikes in the back of a chevy avalanche and pull a trailer but its tight and our gear bags need to go in the trailer
You guys ever put the third bike in backwards so the bars clear the other two bikes?
The middle bike should be backwards people (hint)
i agree
Games For DAYS no it is better that way because the bike won't jump everywhere
Goodluck rolling it up that ramp backwards
Dom956 He'll they had over 4 guys but true this method is really for a diy.
I load the middle bike backwards i have a long bed and its really easy and no problem
so funny watch'n moto x guys load their shit, it's all so light, everything! Ok I'm only 14 but even me and my mates know to put the third bike in backwards
Wade Oliver You can do that, but isn't as easy as pushing it right in. I'll shove my kids little 80 in backwards when we load all 3 bikes, 2 x 250's on the outside. This was a good video, makes me want to think a little harder about loading my truck next time.
No Ramp and only 2 gas cans...would it be easy to put the middle bike in backwards to have more room.
You could remove the foot peg and not have to worry about the water pump, Or take a pool noodle and cut a piece off and stuff it onto the foot peg!
I'd be more worried about the header than the water pump on the smoker!
Put the 2 bike on the side and then put the 3 bike in backwards
what the fuck
5:53 lol
We normally load middle bike backwards.
If you can't fit everything, gas cans, stands, gear bags ect... you could just put it in the back seat and not squish everything
Ghost Effects The bags keep the bikes from squishing into each other too, Something to think about!
Thank you
I’m gonna attempt to put 2 full size bikes then 2 superminis, and a 50
This one British guy on youtube said truck nets are RICE.
so in europe we ride mercedes sprinters no pick up truck's...
They are not that common and overpriced here, you can get a 2500/3500 truck for much cheaper and tow much more if you want to bring a camper for a longer trip. But whatever works for you man
Where I'm at, 90% of the people have a pickup truck. And they do come in very handy.
Having an 8 foot flatbed on your truck helps to.
I have that same msr bag
Not really recommended but if random situation comes up and it comes down to leaving a bike behind l it looks like there's enough space there to throw a fourth bike in the bed 🤔
What car is that
i don't like the cam straps i like the ratcheting ones they always stay tight
its not too bad putting a bike in backwards with ramps, its just a little weird. but without ramps screw that
Why didn't the 2 stroke just go on the far right??
what is the truck?
You would have more room, but how would you get the bike in backwards? That sounds like hell
Very easy put drive chain on backwards and ride it up beep beep beep beep
what I do is........I put the two bikes facing to the front and the middle one facing to the back
Is this Chris angels cousin
Why do all 3 of these guys need huge gear bags?! I could live off stuff in that bag! But good video!
Thinking same. How much room do you need for helmet chest rig knee pads and stylish pants n shirt. All my shit fits in a regular duffel ad 2 shirts n boots for mud moto
we have to do 2 bikes facing forward and one backwards other wise nothing else will fit in the back of our ute :L
This would suck to do all this after riding when you're all hot and tired. Lol.
Simplest solution is is don't have a little bitch truck. They have 8 ft beds for a reason
A trailer would be much simpler
well not everybody has a fucking trailer
I can get 5 bikes in the back of my Cummins trick is to have two bikes backwards
am i the only one who nodiced they didnt tighten the bikes lol???
am I the only one who would of rode all three bikes up the ramp lol???
middle bike should go in backwards.
wow you think 3 bikes is risky in that giant ute?
I pull mager on my 4 stroke
nice rm250
Just stay far away from the Risk Racings Lock N Load System!
Why? I just bought one
LOL 2 SMOKER?! DUDE THATS FUNNY THAT GUT WITH THE RM 250 WAS LIKE THE 2 SMOKER IS SO THE LIGHTEST BIKE SO IT GOES IN THE MIDDLE. dude i was rolf irl and it was so funny 2 smoker?! LOL
i hope for you that the track is not so far.... :-)
What bike is the Honda
***** i knew that i mean is it a crf250r or crf450r
+johnnyboy I full!??
+Michael Cambareri it's a 150r bc it only has a single exhaust
It's a 250r Hondas from 2010-2013 had single exhausts. Look at the cylinder
250r
Zip tie the foot pegs up.
6.5 ft bed or 5.5 ft bed on that Ford?
+Donald Boshers III 5.5
that fuckes the tailgate of your truck up from rock chips
Then take your tailgate off!
Turn the center bike backwards
Locks straps lol. Did you not think about them just cutting the strap?🤦♂️
They didnt put the loading ramp in
7:11 dude.. Pay attention lol
@7.10 they put the ramp on
Whats in the bags?
+PjMoto I think theyir gear. Helmets, jerseys, padding, chest protectors, boots, and so on. Like a hockey bag
2 midgets and a Mexican?
is it illegal to drive a truck with the tailgate down?
doo kie No, what made you think that?
Not if load is secure chobe
That's y u get a trailer
Why? Then you gotta have room to store the trailer when not in use, and you have registration fees and all that other shit. Trailers are ideal for people who do not have trucks.
ThrustWasher "Trailers are ideal for people who do not have trucks"
One of the dumbest things I've ever read. Plenty of pickups tow trailers you goof.
3 bikes = 3 guys right???? why not utilize more of the left over space in the cab of the truck?????? there is obviously a ton of room left in there
Put the middle bike backwards
Just watched this.. Why..
Really running outa videos now
tip #1 :use a trailer
3 dirt bikes, one ford ranger.
I think the KTM is the best bike there😀😀😀
Because it is.
+XPWNZERX the Honda is
Marlatt Reptiles LOLOK
No KTM is a load of shit all their mounts snap and shit their junk Honda makes the best built bikes there are
Marlatt Reptiles What are you talking about? My 2002 EXC 400 is still in pristine condition. Ive only cleaned out the carb, changed oils and changed the fork seals
