Hi Gary, another excellent video. I did similar in the 90’s locating a flat that an individual was in, in London. This video is different to your others though in that it appears to be only 360p instead of the usual 2160p? Keep it up pal. All the best to you and yours. 👍
Hey John! TH-cam has failed me it would seem! Processing the 4k video is 'taking longer than expected'. It should be ready soon I'd imagine. 1990s version of this video would have been much harder in those days! Hope you're well :)
@@theGaryRuddell It was a glance through a window as the camera swung round and being able to determine the first three letters of number plates on cars that were going past (area of registration) that helped initially.

I would have triangulateð with bridge tower and power plant exhaust pipe, with the building edge you detected. Also height can be estimated from bridge deck, not much use on this video but later video cat in a window (A. Jolie). Drawing camera frame lines and estimate height like a laser plane in construction, what is above/below horizontal plane.

How did you come up with the complicated stuff like shadow of the sun the angle building facing toward Sherlock
