This choreo is more like the usual K-Pop Style, but knowing that Stay Tonight is a Single pre-release and most likely will not get promoted in music shows, they tried new things that isn't usually seen in K-Pop such as Vogueing and Wacking
A couple voguing and waacking moves seem to make it into every other major kpop release, but it's true you never see anything so focused on this level of ballroom culture in kpop. I'm so glad she went in this direction even if it's just a pre-release single.
I mean even this version does have quite some elements of hands performance and vogue fem too, but the vibe is more like “yo I’m a hip hop dancer who can do some voguing too”, while the official version is full on “hunty lemme show you how to kiki and be cunt asf”. I fully understand why Ran & Rian version was chosen and totally in love with that choreo, however there are certain elements of this choreo that just OOOH mesmerizes me haha P/S: Ran & Rian’s version is primarily vogue with just a couple waacking elements throwing in here and there

For me personally this is very good but the vouging and whacking aren’t as strong and I like how fluid and laxed the other one is and if your familar with that genre of music then you know that this song is still very heavily influenced by that which is probably why they changed parts of the choreography to properly homage to the aesthetic of this song however this is good! Also I think Rian did the Chero so I’m assuming they must have submitted this? Like to be considered?

ryoujika i’ll try to clear your confusion from my point of view on it. both of them were sent as choreography demos for the song, as one being accepted and later changed, the not chaged version becomes the original, as it has been designated to be the dance, meanwhile the other one remains being called a demo since it wasn’t considered for the final cut, yet it was still submitted as an idea for the dance
if this was the choreo, chungha can perform this on events like university festivals, brand events, etc as she mostly brings only few dancers with her. but ofc this is only a pre-release to her single so maybe she’ll only perform this on her own concert/events with the actual choreo.

This is just a demo version but everyone was doing the choreo like rent is due tomorrow. This is one of the beauty of kpop, the dancing always looks smooth and everyone moves identical to each other. When they swayed their hips, its like it was all connected at their hips. just. wow
i found this choreography to be more "on-stage" than the original one. I mean in the original choreography, it's not complete, they cut the song into parts. That will be hard for Chungha to perform this song on-stage.

I think is because she won't be doing Stay Tonight on stage. Also, there's a comparision with the first choreo that Rian did and there are so many parts completes of what ""Chungha"" do (for example, the dancer spotlight part).
as a dancer myself, chungha can still perform stay tonight live. some performance videos have cuts while others you can see how the dancers and chungha transition to the next part and new blockings. someone made a one take dance cover (th-cam.com/video/FHqCkzflrZM/w-d-xo.html) you can see how they transition from one part to another seamlessly without any cuts. with a few adjustments here and there, i believe that chungha and her dancers can perfectly perform this live on stage.
Yeah I def see why this wasn’t chosen, it just lacks cohesiveness and complexity compared to the original . The guys choreo seemed a bit stiff and awkward. Chungha knew she needed the gays for this one lol
I am so tired of the male backup dancers in female kpop choreos either always having to be choreographed slightly differently or half assing so they don't look too feminine to the audience. Not to mention they're usually way too stiff to pull off anything remotely close to voguing, like they barely move fluidly enough next to the female performers in other routines that have nothing to do with ballroom culture. I'm so glad she went with the other one and included men who actually specialize in ballroom vogue.

I hate this toxic masculinity that's going around. Like, idk why men being feminine is looked so down upon. SMH.
These are actually chungha's backup dancers ever since her debut cause i recognize assa wood who was the man bun guy everyone was talking about but I'm glad she tried something new.
This is probably since either Chung Ha or MNH specifically asked these choreographers for choreographies with waacking and vogue elements to highlight Chung Ha's expertise in these genres since she is incredibly talented with hand movements and choreography so heavily based on these genres is very much new to the K-Pop scene as of now :)
The male part in this choreo its really hwan's style👌. As a byulharang I just want to appreciate this choreo, thank you so much kingbear-nim and hwan-nim for an amazing choreography 💚💙💜
there are a couple areas i like a lot better in this choreo than in the choreo chosen but overall the one chosen is much better because of the voguing and the addition of the men in heels. and the dance break in the one chosen is much more eye catching and complex. there are a lot more iconic moments in the one chosen. i just wish the move at 1:00 was kept because that was awesome.

I feel that way too. This is AMAZING work but it feels a little to over the top for Chung Ha current image "simple and to the point" creates a better mood then "over the top and up beat". I am very happy that I got to see some more of the a.ssa dancers in this one though, as I feel a Chung Ha comeback is incomplete without a.ssa dancers 🙃 because they have been with her for so long. *Again I don't hate anyone's creative availability* Its just that sometimes your choreo fits the artist idea and sometimes it doesn't, thats the hardship and beauty of the dance world.

i think this ones is WAY harder than the final one, if this one was the last released it would be easily one of the most beautiful yet hard choreos in kpop....
I love how she's controlling people in beautiful ways in this version, that's actually something I think they could have incorporated more into the original too. The opening shot of the original does have it but I wish it showed up again
Kingbear's color of micro movements, badass walking and not wasting every single beats, added with the male dancers "manly" choreography by Hwan is really refreshing for me to see. it goes well with the song and just as equally beautiful as the official choreography. Bravo you guys!

this choreography suits well on stage performances because the choreo that was used on the song has cuts where the backup dancers are already there like they have no time to go there if it's performed on stage they're gonna have to cut them too
this dance had some cool moves on their own! but it felt a little everywhere... I wouldnt be surprised if some moves from here were taken from here to be used in a different song because some are pretty unique. I know it’s supposed to be vogue but we all know chungha likes her full body movements so some parts felt like she was standing still longer just moving her arms while the dancers did a lot :)
I think I like both versions, I like this ver. it's because of the complexity that it's so fun to watch but confusing which is pretty good, I like the official ver. because of the vogueing and whacking which I like and I actually learned the official dance already

보깅도 좋긴한데, 이것도 못지않게 멋진듯. 원래 안무영상먼저 보고 이거 지금봤는데도 각자 임팩트있고 멋지네요! 노란색 라인으로 추는 구간은 진짜 멋진듯.

Yeah I def see why this wasn’t chosen, it just lacks cohesiveness and complexity compared to the original . The guys choreo seemed a bit stiff and awkward. Chungha knew she needed the gays for this one lol
I am so tired of the male backup dancers in female kpop choreos either always having to be choreographed slightly differently or half assing so they don't look too feminine to the audience. Not to mention they're usually way too stiff to pull off anything remotely close to voguing, like they barely move fluidly enough next to the female performers in other routines that have nothing to do with ballroom culture. I'm so glad she went with the other one and included men who actually specialize in ballroom vogue.
@@avavago Oh my gosh, that's exactly how I feel about the 3rd and 4th generation boy groups. 2nd gen, you'd find all the men (back up dancers AND boy groups) dancing to SNSD Gee, KARA Mr., WG Nobody, 4MINUTE Crazy, BEG Abracadabra and not half ass it. I hate this toxic masculinity that's going around. Like, idk why men being feminine is looked so down upon. SMH.

These are actually chungha's backup dancers ever since her debut cause i recognize assa wood who was the man bun guy everyone was talking about but I'm glad she tried something new.

This is probably since either Chung Ha or MNH specifically asked these choreographers for choreographies with waacking and vogue elements to highlight Chung Ha's expertise in these genres since she is incredibly talented with hand movements and choreography so heavily based on these genres is very much new to the K-Pop scene as of now :)

there are a couple areas i like a lot better in this choreo than in the choreo chosen but overall the one chosen is much better because of the voguing and the addition of the men in heels. and the dance break in the one chosen is much more eye catching and complex. there are a lot more iconic moments in the one chosen. i just wish the move at 1:00 was kept because that was awesome.

This is AMAZING work but it feels a little to over the top for Chung Ha current image "simple and to the point" creates a better mood then "over the top and up beat".
I am very happy that I got to see some more of the a.ssa dancers in this one though, as I feel a Chung Ha comeback is incomplete without a.ssa dancers 🙃 because they have been with her for so long.

도대체 더보기란에 왜 정식데모버전이라고 써놓은건지 알 수가 없네요.. 심사에서 탈락된 시안이라고 적어놓으시면 좋았을텐데 안무 1차 시안이래서 처음으로 이거 보고 아 안무를 정말 많이 바꿨구나 이전에 안무는 아예 없네 싶었는데 다른거 또 보니까 아니였네요.. 완전 사기당한 느낌..

Kingbear's color of micro movements, badass walking and not wasting every single beats, added with the male dancers "manly" choreography by Hwan is really refreshing for me to see. it goes well with the song and just as equally beautiful as the official choreography. Bravo you guys!

데모버전이 뭔지는 모르겠지만....(찐으로모름) 어떤 컨셉이고 뭘 표현하려는지는 너무 잘보이고 춤고 잘추시는데 진짜 춤알못이 외칩니다....청하 원래안무도 조금씩 넣어주세요 ㅠㅠ
데모라는건 안무를 정할 때 여러 안무팀에 안무 의뢰를 맡기곤 하는데요
이때 다양한 안무팀에서 나온 시안을 가지고 안무 픽스를 합니다
킹베어 분이 계신 팀에서 청하 이번 신곡의 시안을 제안했던 건데 결과적으로는 부분적으로만 차용한 것 같네용

개인적으로는 전체적인 구성의 강약을 조금더 선명하게 주어서 집중할 포인트를 만들면서, 특히 청하 특유의 선과 표정을 즐길 수 있을 여유를 조금만 더 섞어줄 수 있다면 정식 안무와는 또 다른 느낌의 매력이 있을거 같아요

this choreography suits well on stage performances because the choreo that was used on the song has cuts where the backup dancers are already there like they have no time to go there if it's performed on stage they're gonna have to cut them too

this dance had some cool moves on their own! but it felt a little everywhere...
I wouldnt be surprised if some moves from here were taken from here to be used in a different song because some are pretty unique. I know it’s supposed to be vogue but we all know chungha likes her full body movements so some parts felt like she was standing still longer just moving her arms while the dancers did a lot :)

I think I like both versions, I like this ver. it's because of the complexity that it's so fun to watch but confusing which is pretty good, I like the official ver. because of the vogueing and whacking which I like and I actually learned the official dance already
