I really love when EXID performs without heavy playback.
People don't realize that Hyerin doesn't hit notes like Solji. These notes sound different coming from each of their voices. When Solji sings it, it almost sounds effort less and she cuts the note off more abrupt then Hyerin. When Hyerin sings it, she uses the natural flips and stresses in her voice while holding out the note for longer. Their vocal textures and tones are completely different. Hyerin didn't mess up, she just didn't sing it like Solji. And as for Solji carrying the group, Solji has a beautiful voice with more years of experience than the other girls, but I think it's unfair to say she "carries" the group. She's a part of the group and when she's missing they have to make adjustments to a song that was made for 5 to sing. Hyerin did perfectly fine in Solji's place, and I hope Solji gets well soon.

I think I’m a bit late, but this is a remix, hyerin intentionally went for a lower note to emphasize the intimate feeling, first time I heard it I got crazy chills when she surprised me by going lower and it’s still so amazing, she sang solji’s high notes many times before and she did them amazingly, also worth mentioning that she also had injured her throat that time so some live stages might sound less effortless

All of them are talented enough, the weakiest one is Junghwa but her voice really stable. What shocked me is Hani, she has nice voice but when they made a comeback with ahyeah, hot pink. Her parts always trying to look sexy I meant the voice. L.I.E one of the song I can see her sang without that sexy voice. She can sing really normal.
Junghwa's the weakest singer but she makes up for dancing. I actually prefer for to see her dance break than doing solo line like the one on Hot Pink, I always cringe on her part It's like a totally different song. Don't get me wrong I love Junghwa, but they should make her do what she does best. Same goes with Hani stop making her sing falsetto.

Surprise at Midnight I know that they're better now than before. But I think that they aren't recognized as they deserve, they weren't nominated for MAMA in 2016, even with their album Street, etc. They aren't a small group anymore, but I really want them to be more recognized
