I couldn't really find any good tips on how to get the Fwd Assist set screw ( threaded roll pin ) out when the allen head was stripped so, here's what worked for me..
Since the anti walk pins are generally Not threaded into the lower, ( the screws usually thread into the pins ) it would be best to have the screw head of the pin that's on the side facing the bench laying directly on something hardened ( like a wrench or weight ) while you smack the side facing you ( to get a good transfer of energy ) But honestly, the pin sets are pretty inexpensive. I'd probably go with ( carefully ) drilling the screw heads off of one side and then pushing them though. Either way, if you're worried about marring your finish, think before you act, and getting a new set of pins would be a good idea.
