Did you take 2 ovulation tests a day or 1?? & at what time
mari gurrola I took one in the morning and one in the afternoon like 5 or 6 just to be sure. But not every time I tested, just when I was unsure like when the line looked like a positive in the morning but I wasn’t sure.
@@marigurrola3342 I took mine at random times of the day mainly from 3PM onwards and on CD 16 I got a LOVLEY dark line. I always used my 2ndd urine of the day and I left it at room temperature for 30 minutes to an hour

Where u on any kind of birth control prior to TTC?

@@becciwilliams7114 I would take 2 test a day, that was first thing I did every morning and every night before bed. I would take the test at 6 am every morning and every night at 9 pm.

Same 😢 we have been trying to conceive for 4 years. I have pcos and it’s a nightmare. It’s bittersweet seeing other women announcing their pregnancies when so many are struggling
to conceive.
Dont mi d me saying, but after 8 months you cannot call yourself infertile. I got pregnant when i was 22 after one year, i was not on birth control and my ex partner would finish inside me everytime. It happened at the wrong time though, I was not planning to have a baby, i guess I was just ignorant and immature and didn't really think i was going to get pregnant, because i used to have my period once in two months. When my period stopped coming for three months, thats when I realised sth was off.
I eneded up getting an abortion.
But anyways, dont think youre infertile after 8 months. Sometimes it can take even 2 years to conceive. Fingers crossed for you.

Tried this method out, learned I didn’t ovulate till day 19-20, and two cycles later we nailed it! So much easier than trying to follow my temp. Thanks for the video!

Heather T not sure, my cycle had always been pretty irregular. I am pretty sure that was due to smoking (quit around thanksgiving) and I started eating breakfast (was intermittent fasting). I used to like, have a period once every couple months.
Once I stopped those things started to regulate (at least once a month). But then got pregnant which was only like two/three cycles so not too much time to track.

I've been trying for 15 months and I have taken a grand total of 1 pregnancy tests 😂 I don't test until i miss my period. I've never been pregnant, and I've tried this method before. To anyone watching this video, please just know that it is unusual to fall pregnant this quickly. Good luck to everyone 🍍
Just a tip for anyone in the comments - for some women if you take the ovulation tests first thing they may not show the LH surge with the dark line, so taking it in the afternoon can help. I find this to be true for my cycles! Praying that we all get blessed soon 🙏🏻✨

Okay, I watched this video in 2019 and went off birth controll just like you and did the exact same thing and got pregnant on my 3rd cycle. Now I am in 2022 and I'm doing it again. I have to say it worked great for us the first time, so fingers crossed it works again. On cycle #1 this time!

Thank you for this. I am currently a nursing student, and while reading our textbook, it briefly mentioned the LH test strips. This led me to dig deeper because I want to be able to explain this to a patient if I am ever asked. I have always felt that having the knowledge and not needing it is better than needing it and not having the knowledge. Thank you again.

I'm trying to understand the numbers affliated to each ovulation test to track down what day is my peak day/days. I am going to create a journal as well to track as you did, but I'm just a little lost with the lh numbers
@@latreceabdullahi7426 the premom app is great! But you don't have to worry about the numbers at all - its all about the darkness of the line! When the test line is DARKER than the control line then you hit your peak!

One question..why do we need to test pregnancy test every day.(Dpo) method)? Not clear of Dpo process. Ideally if we miss periods then we could do pregnancy test? No?
@Sneha38693 sadly I lost the baby, a boy at 19 weeks. I got pregnant again trying this method and it worked. Now holding my 2 month old baby boy. I didn't really test after 10 DPO this second time of trying. I wasnt as excited of testing on 10 DPO
Plus I just thought I was going to get my period cause I had period like cramps but period never came. And I tested and got a positive. Thought I failed this method the second time of doing it for my rainbow baby but surprisingly it was a success. For me. Doing this method is not testing everyday. It's testing at least 14 days after ovulation after doing this method. It's called excitement. I tested at 10 DPO cause I was excited. And tested everyday afterwards until i saw a darker line. Because why not? Some test early like me because I was excited and its very possible getting a faint positive as early as 10 DPO. There's no golden rule that you have to wait after a missed period. And there's nothing wrong with testing a bit earlier or after a missed period either.
Trying this and started yesterday.. this is a video that's timeless and that makes it priceless 💜💜

Upto how many days we should try after ovulation...is it alternate or consecutive days??
Take ovulation tests until u see the second line darker than the first one. That’s when you’re ovulating and that day is when you want to conceive and you can try again the next day to be sure you end up getting pregnant !
@@NEHAKUMARI-sx7xz ideally you should try to conceive 3 days after you finish your cycle so that you cover the period before your ovulation since sperm stays inside the body for up to 5 days (avg is 3 days). So I would suggest trying every other day after you finish your cycle and on your ovulation day then continue for 12-24 hours after ovulation.
