ภัทร หนุ่มทะเล้น กากเกรียน และ ปราณ หนุ่มเนี้ยบ มาดคุณชาย ผู้ที่ถูกฟ้าลิขิตให้เป็นศัตรูกันตั้งแต่ยังไม่เห็นหน้า เพราะพ่อแม่เปิดร้านอุปกรณ์ก่อสร้างอยู่ข้างกัน แข่งกันตัดราคา แย่งลูกน้อง เกลียดกันชนิดไม่เผาผี ทำให้ทั้งคู่ถูกวางตัวเป็นคู่แข่งกันตั้งแต่เกิด ไม่ว่าใครคลานได้ก่อน เดินได้ก่อน เรียกพ่อแม่ได้ก่อน ทุกอย่างล้วนถูกเอามาเปรียบเทียบเกทับกัน
แต่วันหนึ่งตอนที่ทั้งคู่อายุ 12 ปี กำแพงความเกลียดชังของทั้งคู่ก็เริ่มมีรอยร้าว เมื่อ ภา น้องสาวของภัทรขี่จักรยานพลัดตกน้ำในคลองหมู่บ้าน ระหว่างที่ภัทรยังทำอะไรไม่ถูก เป็นปราณที่กระโจนลงน้ำไปช่วยภาขึ้นมา เหตุการณ์นั้นก็ทำให้ความสัมพันธ์ของคนทั้งคู่เปลี่ยนไป แม้ภายนอกจะดูเป็นคู่แข่งกันเหมือนเดิม แต่ลึกๆ ข้างในก็ไม่เกลียดชังกันเท่าเดิม
จน ม.3 อาจารย์ให้ทั้งคู่ฟอร์มวงดนตรีด้วยกัน ทำให้ทั้งคู่ต้องใกล้ชิดกันมากขึ้น
4 ปีต่อมา โชคชะตาก็เล่นตลกเมื่อส่งให้ ภัทร เข้าเรียนปี1 เป็นประธานรุ่นฝั่งวิศวะ ขณะที่ ปราณ เป็นประธานรุ่นคณะสถาปัตย์ โดยที่ทั้ง 2 คณะเป็นคู่แค้นกันมานาน ทำให้ภัทรและปราณต้องกลับมาตีกันอีกครั้ง เมื่อภารู้เรื่อง ก็วีนแตก ยื่นคำขาดห้ามภัทรทำร้ายปราณเด็ดขาด เพราะบุญคุณที่เคยช่วยไว้ ทำให้ภัทรไปขอทำข้อตกลงกับปราณว่าจะแอบแลกเปลี่ยนข้อมูล เพื่อหาทางหลีกเลี่ยงไม่ให้ทั้ง 2 คณะทะเลาะกัน ปราณเองก็ไม่ชอบมีเรื่องเลยยอมตกลง
ทำให้ทั้งคู่เริ่ม “ความสัมพันธ์แบบลับๆ” ที่จะเป็นเพื่อนก็ไม่ใช่ ศัตรูก็ไม่เชิง แต่บันเทิงใจคนดู
สุดท้ายแล้วมิตรภาพบนความขัดแย้งของภัทรและปราณจะไปสิ้นสุดที่ตรงไหน ความลับจะแตกลงเมื่อไหร่ พ่อแม่จะยอมรับหรือไม่ หรือสุดท้ายจะมีวันที่ความขัดแย้งคลี่คลายหรือไม่

I love how uncle Tong took one look at these two runaways, immediately grasped the situation, didn't press them for any information, instead he took them into his own home indefinitely and made sure they were safe. The world needs more people like uncle Tong! And I haven't even mentioned his environmental work! He's the unsung hero of this episode in my eyes.

I’ve never seen the relantionship as healthy as what they have. The communication and how both of them understanding each other, it’s something new to me to see that the main character who talked and find the solutions quickly without any unnecessary dramas. The way Pat just started crying in the bus unintentionally after Pran held his hand was almost like him showing how overwhelmed he was to be Pran's safe space and to have Pran as his safe space, he felt heartbroken at what his dad did, he felt angry that all of what they went through could've easily been avoided and every other emotion he could feel at that moment...And not to mention Pran's character development, our baby deserved to heal..

They are setting the bar higher every episode. I mean, Its like they are outdoing themselves every week, the actors, the storyline, the cinematography and the soundtrack, all are getting better and better every single episode. This is the perfect story and perfect relationship. Pat-Pran love story is the epitome of a Too good to be true Love Story. Their acting is always beyond on point, all aspect of bad buddy the series is freaking awsome, as in 10 out of 10 and no one can argue with that unless they fight me dead. This series is a Gem for GMMTv and i bet this Bad buddy the series wont be surpass by any series even after decades, atleast for me, unless NanOhm and Aof surprises us all with season 2 and outdo their performance in Season 1. Thank you all for showing us that healthiest relationship ever told to date. Thank you for making us smile and showing us how it felt to love and to be loved back, and when to give way and when to meet half way in a relationship!

Hoping they have a lot of screen time, but I think, according to the teaser (something like that ) for Ep 11, this episode would entirely focus on Pat and Pran since they would travel somewhere (forgot the place) to escape their parents for awhile.. Hoping for a seperate series for Pa and Ink, though, like the DBK.
Directors also are so good… Both main actors are awesome, great acting, chemistry matching :)

Kudos to the writing team and P'Aof for advocating environmental awareness in this series - not just 1 but in 2 episodes! It may not be the front and center in this series but yes, even a small mention of it to a diverse and international audience counts.
Actually it's in 3 episodes. Pran only got the money for the bus station because Pan changed the concept to an environmental friendly one, because the headline of the competition was "save the earth". Loved it 🌱❤️

Honestly never seen this in a show and it completely shows it's modernity - made me soooo happy because it probably took courage to add as they wouldn't want to put people off or get away from the 'fantasy world' of a tv show - this show in so many ways tackles problems often NOT addressed in the world and i'm so freaking living for it.
I honestly started this show thinking it was gonna be another cute bl with a really interesting concept, but I've just been surprised in the best way

NSH, beautiful said, and unfortunately so true ! In gaylife telling your parents is always the first hurdle to take ! I think having a child is the greatest responsability you can take, you should always support your child, otherwise you are not fit to be a parent ! It took me 5 years to tell my parents, I was lucky, they took it well, because they knew allready; they noticed I and my partner smoked out of the same packet...Evenso I still remember the lying during those first 5 years we lived together, pretending to be just buddies, only being able to be ourself when it was just the two of us, like these two !

Coming back and rewatching this series reminds me why I loved it so much. The very first scene in this episode has me crying. The obvious chemistry between them, their words, the music, Pat's tears. I can't right now.
I like how they (finally!) show us a sex-wise verse/switch couple in a healthy, communicative and mutually appreciative relationship full of caring reciprocity and emphathetic and logical compromises. Pat was topping since ep 8, this is Pran’s 1st time topping, hence his question: “Was I good?” This and lots of other trope-defying BBS stuff ventures into realities of actual gay relationships. Before in BLs it was mostly heteronormative narrative imposed on same-sex relationships. Now - a fujoshi/fudanshi fantasy crossing over into a more realistic queer representation in Thailand. Temporary and mutually agreed “break-up” (just for show, not real) to appease and reconcile the families and eliminate obstacles is just a voluntary way of losing 1 battle to ultimately win the entire war for their eternal love and being together with full acceptance from the most important people in their lives.

But saying Pan topped Pran since ep 8 is wrong because They were outed in ep 8 4/4 and Then after Korn visited their room made suggested gestures for which Pat and Pran said Not yet. I think they started their sexual life in honeymoon. No indication was given before.
@@pavanw their answer to Korn “not yet” (on that day) was just that - “not yet” on that day, Korn was about to interrupt Pat getting his reward (sex) from Pran after winning the rugby match, but they never made it as Korn came in😃. Director Aof confirmed that - just like in the novel “Behind the scene” - they started having sex right after officially becoming boyfriends. And two healthy non-asexual 19yo guys madly and passionately in love “rehearsing the play hard” every night in the same bed in Pran’s room for weeks or even months. Yeah, they were banging like rabbits🙃. Pran seemed exhausted from all the sex with Pat, he said “Pran, give me a break” when Pat was on top of him and about to claim his reward.
Do you think Pat is the kind of character to be chaste and be ok with having blue-balls for months and months? And Pran is extremely sexual and kinky as is evidenced by ep12.

I love how the writer(s) didn't abandon their character traits and history as the story progressed. You still see their natural instinct to compete with each other and not back down from each other's challenge. You still see Pran being in order and compliance while Pat has his chaotic ways.
I am absolutely living for Ohm's subtle sadness in this series. In his other BLs, he's so intense. It makes the subtlety here even more beautiful. Love! Love! Love!
I agree. Plus i feel like they delveloped it further because whenever one of them is sad the other purposes a challenge knowing it will distract them so they can take a break from thinking about it

Everyone talking bout nanon, s amazing acting I think hats off to ohm fr portraying pat, s character. No one could have done better than the way he pulled this role off. Pat is that type of boyfie to bottle up his emotions and Cry secretly just to show his partner he's strong n here to comfort his partner. But inside, he's breaking louder than bombs. I'm watching this series fr 4th time already still can't stop myself from admiring them🥺

Pat and pran fr have the healthiest relationship i've seen in a bl so far , their understanding to each other's feelings their conversations and them talking any sort on conflict or misunderstanding out , being there for each other emotionally supporting one another is just so beautiful to me 😭😭
As this is the first BL series I watched, I can't attest to that. But in general there really few healthy relationships in any series. And I am glad my lgtbq+ child gets to view this growing up.
Not to mention their intimacy feels so real, not weirdly hyper-sexualised or made to look awkward like the actors themselves are uncomfortable. Pat cradling Pran's head and Pran hugging him and breaking down, holding hands over Pran's thigh on the bus, Pat dropping his 'heavy head' on Pran. It just feels so true to life!
Not just bl but actually the Healthiest relationship in any given media
Seeing them free and enjoying their time together is a breathe of fresh air. Even it's just for a moment, they deserve to have their own time for themselves. Hoping for good reconciliation with their parents soon.
I might be overthinking it but look at pran's eyes in 2:23. When pat is talking about running away and living where only two of them are present ,he knows it is impossible and he very well knows how painful situations would get the moment this trip ends ,but he doesn't wanna say that out loud because that will break Pat's heart. He stares at pat with love but somewhere in that love there is an immeasurable amount of pain present.

Such incredible actors that it for once doesn't look like acting. So natural,feel every emotion they portray and literally blown away by there chemistry. A definite partnership we all want to see again and again . 🙏🇬🇧❤️
They communicate well with each other.. No misunderstandings and know each other REALLY well.. And that's why Pran knew that Pat wouldn't throw away his sim card and played along with him 😂 Their acting comes naturally with superb chemistry and it reaches us pretty well...
The bus scene is so perfect, like you can see how much Pat feels about their situation. He try to hold it in and be strong for the both of them after Pran’s breakdown at the end of ep 10. 🥺
I know i sound like a scratched disc in all my comments, but the acting is so good. 3 mins in when they are on the coach n Pat pulls Pran too him there's long minutes of breathtaking acting. U can see all their emotions, n feelings in their eyes n faces
And can read exactly what they are feeling n thinking. It's perfection.

To be honest, They had the Healthiest Relationship I have watched... Their bond , the way they Understand each-other , n their chemistry Everything ... Everything about them is just Perfect. not only them but everyone like pat n pa, the brother-sis bond , their friends etc... It has Best script ever No unnecessary drama or drags that's why it set the STANDARD and it will always be remain Top on my fav list

I have to be honest here. Even though I have a favorite series that i always watch because it's my safe place I need to admit this series, Bad buddy, it's THE BEST BL.
The way they didn't abord being gay like something not common or strange for people around others, like everyone was cool with it as IT SHOULD.
3:06 this scene's got to be one of my favorite beautiful yet bittersweet moments, the way they are just lost and seeking escape while being each others' comfort makes me so emotional, but what hits the most is Pat's tear rolling down his cheek, it adds so much more impact and meaning to it and that really pained me, what an incredible scene ㅠㅠ
