What a beautiful area to catch some train in, love the green rolling hills and what an awesome shot of the river as the rafters are heading toward you and the smoke from the steam loco lingers above them, really well done!
Yes it sure is a beautiful area at Jim Thorpe formerly known as Mauch Chunk and was a former mining town as well.. It gets lots of tourists for the little shops and the Lehigh Gorge Scenic Railroad plus biking and hiking 🚂😁.. Have a great day my friend 👋
Too Beautiful for words... Really what railroad lets people mingle around the tracks like that, well the friendliest class 2 railroad that I know of Andy Muller Jr's Reading & Northern. As long as no one gets hurt, uses common sense when around trains is his motto. Hey, I also like your shots of the rafters coming down the Lehigh River.
