man...all you young guys/girls have all the training and time to get really good! In my day we had to rewind cassettes, skip over albums and bounce ideas off of friends, then go back to the albums and try again.
Give this man all your money. I've made leaps and bounds in my understanding of guitar thanks to Stitch....if you're ever in New Orleans, drinks of me.
I've been trying to learn the CAGED system for about a year and I learned the shapes both major and minor and there associated diatonic and pentatonic scales but I still struggle. For instance I tried to learn little wing which uses fragments of the caged chords and felt lost again. Where can I find Stitche's method? I need some help😅
@beaglegod1 OK, so search my channel for my CAGED primer playlist and start watching, also look up my channel for my little wing video. Both combines should help tremendously. Let me know
Sir… this is it. This is the gateway to advanced guitar playing. You’ve put it into simple straight forward plain language that non theory folks can grasp. You’ve again laid out the roadmap, we just have to put in the work in order for it to work. I’ve followed your channel for years and you are the best… you’ve helped me up my game in so many ways. Can’t thank you enough for sharing your passion, talent, and ability to simplify with the world. Bless you my friend.
oh my god this was what I have been searching for like past one month because I started to think that chords give weight to what note I play and vice versa, going to watch this tomorrow and try it after my exam
yo stich...great vid...and no, you didn't screw up while taking that solo...you just put a note into it from the diatonic scale and this note we also used in your comfortably numb video where we manipulated the pentatonic this way. Love you, man and can't thank you enough for all you've done for my guitar playing.
Right where I'm at!!! Been practicing caged major Minor pentatonics and arpeggios for just over a year and it's starting to become habit... THIS is my next step.. takes time to burn those shapes into the memory and fingers bit after watching this I feel I'm ready for the leap!!! Count me as one of those people you were hoping to help!!! Thank you Thank you THANK YOU!!! Dare is say... A stitch in time saves 9? Legend!!! Bless 😎🙏🕊️✨💥🎸🤗
This is a amazing guitar lesson , I am so impressed on how he can help me understand guitar!!!!! five stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5 out of 5 stars that is !!!!! Thank you 🎸
The more I play, the more I come to this realization. Chords are the way that I am able to see notes on the neck these days…. Memorizing them by rote has never worked. But if there is a triad that I know well, that helps me visualize the root.
Great lesson Stich! What you have demonstrated is worth millions. Thank you for sharing this. Btw, how do you like the Firefly 335?? Is it worth the big bucks you spent on it??
My fingers are fatter than yours and keeps touching adjacent strings. I have to use the very tip of my fingers, this slows me down. What is your solution?
You should be using the tips for the most part I am pretty sure. Maybe look for a guitar with more space between each string? Idk might just take more practice

your generation had it easy, we had to buy 45's and keep moving the needle back to learn the song... 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Absolute best guitar teacher out there.
You are a very good teacher. It's all about the song!
Great lesson Stitch. You the Man!!

Brilliant! ❤ excellent idea, the pdf ... very helpful ... thanks!
Another awesome video! Thank you for your service!!
Thanks man. I’ve learned a lot from your videos. Appreciate it.

You are a fabulous teacher! Obrigado, gracias, thanks 👍
The thumbs up LIKE sign in the background works. :)
The Gminor chord shape isn't all that common in the music I play, but it is definitely interesting and *should* be there!
thanks this is great
I’ve watched lots of Stitch videos, I find it hard to believe that he’s ever “struggled” with guitar. I wish I could play half as well as he does.
Oh I’ve struggled. But, up until the point it all click for me…. Which is what my channel is all about.

I honestly love it and it was very inexpensive 😬
Thanks for the reply/feedback. Yes I do enjoy my Firefly 335 as well. Keep the awesome videos going. You rock!!
thank you sir
Merci. An Al Gore Rhythm Comment.

With chords that is what you are supposed to do, use the tips of the fingers, keep the nails cut short.
You should be using the tips for the most part I am pretty sure. Maybe look for a guitar with more space between each string? Idk might just take more practice
No Translations ?
I get confused about which pentatonic to use with the shapes 😢
Watch lessons seven and eight in my caged primer playlist. I promise you, you will not be confused at all.
