- Another CRAZY fishing challenge using FOODS!!! BlacktipH and I hit the grocery store and pick out a variety of different meats to throw in the surf. I was decently successful catching bass on grocery items before, check out what saltwater species we manage to catch today!

1Rod1ReelFishing BlacktipH I love the video so far and you and mikes channel inspired me to start bass fishing and just today I caught a half pound large mouth it doesn't sound like a lot but it was my first bass and I took a lot of the tips you give to catch him. I live in Louisiana and I was fishing in Kincaid lake and you should fish here sometime we have 12 lb bass, big gar, bream, and catfish so I think you would enjoy the fishing here in Louisiana. Hey 1rod. you should do a collb with Tim Galati. He is a great guy and does a lot of fishing.
1Rod1ReelFishing Instead of chicken livers use gizzards. They will stay on the hook much better. You can use them fresh or cure them similar to curing salt pork. Either way when you bait up cut some slits in them like fish gills to help disperse the scent. They also work great when ground with livers as a dough bait scent or on as a pack bait on a bait holder treble hook. Tight lines to you.
