We may learn a lot about the Chinese, but......you might look as far as San Marino to see that American Chinese people are as different as any other American group, and as tired of anyone stereo typing them, as "them". Even at Muir. The Lowes were cousins, but all different. My friend's daughters taught English in China itself for several years, and when my friends. went to visit, they found amazing, wonderful individuals who were awed by BIG Americans and loved the hair of Trina and Necia. When my even taller brother was sent there to engineer the first robotic plant for cars in China, his 6 foot 6 in his motorcycle boots, and NO SUITS, Native American self was a celebrity as well. You could see him, and his six foot seven teenager towering above the people everywhere. Their government may be more strict than ours, but their kids are educated and few, if any were ever seen starving or homeless.

The light bulb joke, Come on Dave give me a break!
The first day of my PhD in Public Administration the Chair told us an American joke. who knew???? How many Americans does it take to change a light bulb. It can not be done. First a committee has to meet to make sure the light bulb really is not working. THEN the leveled managers have to meet to decide who is supposed to do which part of which, and then send it to the Union to make sure the rules have not changed about who can GET the light bulb and who can climb the latter, and which level of electrician has to do the actual contact with the bulb and the switch. By the time all the meetings have been completed, and the memos sent back and forth the man who is THE only one the Union will let change the bulb has been fired, because the money was needed for higher salary for Administrators. AND someone stole the light bulbs from the stock room. Then we were told that it was time to fix Public Administration.

As anyone knows who has played the game of Monopoly, sooner or later, one person has it all, the rest get mad, and the game board gets thrown at someone's head, and no one plays again. That is what the inventor of the game intended for us to figure out........

He was adopted by a businessman and one has to wonder....because in those days people adopted children to be slaves, not send them to school. Hmm. But it surely gives the profile for a man who would be pro bank, and exactly what the Founders of America did NOT want, the same old same old......While Washington DID have him as Secretary of State.......one wonders, because he is noted as bringing in the britishtribe bankers.....and traders......didn't the US just defeat them in a war to get rid of them???? Hamilton, like some recent politicians was a person who desperately wanted to be in the good old boys club, and ready to sell out America to get there. Duels were illegal, so both Barr and Hamilton became criminal by having one. In the literature I just read, it said that Barr asked for a moment to put on his glasses, and Hamilton shot at him, but missed, Barr shot back and did not miss. I think Hamilton was not a very moral guy.
