If you dump say a gallon of water down the sink, that’s another gallon added to the amount of water the water facilities have to process. This costs money! It’s not free. It’s also wasting a lot of energy that we can’t afford to use. Reducing the use of water also lowers the amount of greenhouse emissions. The reason is that, the more efficient the use of our waters are, the less energy and costs there are to produce products and emit greenhouse gases. You need to think of the whole picture and not just “it’s just water”. So PLEASE stop wasting water. :)
